CEL Epi-plex+5/3/1+FOOD=gains

Awesome to hear man. I really need to learn more Olympic lifts. One day, maybe lol.

They were killers for sure!

Yesterday's squat workout was pretty gnarly.. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of weights but I feel and look significant leaner than before.

I capped the workout with some prowler sprints both high and low COMPLETELY smoking my glutes, quads, and calfs Invalid Link Removed

Nice. I love those. My little old gym doesn't have those:(

I find it a little sad that there is this complex out side of the gym that I go to with thousands of dollars of awesome equipment that people hardly ever use :( more gains for me ;)

I started a new cycle of 5/3/1 today. Endurance at higher reps is still great as I managed to get 8 on my top set

Assistance work was pretty on point today as well. I incorporated some added band resistance to the HS row machine as well as on flat CG bench to finish out triceps. The tension created at the top part of the movement is pretty intense and lead to an even better pump than usual.

Has anyone else logging Epi-plex noted an increased hunger or like PROFUSE sweating? Like I've said before, I've used plenty of -(-)epi products in the past but I'm finding it significantly harder to satisfy my hunger as of late.
In addition to that I'm having to shower like 2x a day because I sweat pretty bad in my sleep and I'm dripping after my evening workout...

Neither of these two things are bad but I was just curious if anyone else is experiencing anything similar

Hmhh i have couple people in the gym on this, and no one have reported the sides, but will keep an eye on it.

Increase in hunger is always good :)

Horizontal push/pull today and it was great!

Weight is up to 186 and I hit 255 for 6 on my top set of BB flat bench

Assistance work consisted of a few supersets and and a lot of lateral raises

Since beginning my run I've steadily increased the weights on all of my assistance work and I've managed to maintain volume

The pump today was retarded to say the least Invalid Link Removed

And post workout meal consisted of 310g of this delicious crack and a scoop of blondie select. Invalid Link Removed
Should fuel a great DL workout tomorrow

Oh and pertaining to Epi-plex.... 29.99 on NP is a steal! I hope these prices last trough the 4th of July sale so I can stock up

DL session today but nothing out of the ordinary to report

What's everyone's favorite assistance work for DL?

I usually hammer out 5 sets of 10-20
front squats
Back ext or GHR
BB hip thrust
And either farmers walk or prowler sprints

Weight is pretty stable at 186 so we'll see how the weekend treats me ;) im working security at a private beach at Lake Tahoe so it should be fun

I like GHR's, Pendlay rows, and my new favorite the seal row with loaded Olympic bar underneath a raised up flat bench. I row it tight and explosively to the underside of the bench while laying prone on top of the bench w neutral head. The contraction is super strong in the whole lower lat. I just discovered this last week. Will be using this often. Farmers walks are great too.

Tonight is my first night back to the gym since Tuesday night. I was working security up at Lake Tahoe for the fourth.

Although I didn't workout, I dosed -(-) Epi first thing in the AM, my diet was fairly on point, and quality of food up there was legit (NY strip every night, anything i wanted for other meals and best of all it was all comped)

I'm ready to get back at it

I stepped on the scale for the first time in a week and much to my surprise, I managed to maintain weight and look a bit leaner in the mirror.

The past few days consisted of roving the beach and it wouldn't surprise me if we ended up walking about 10 miles total per day (which may have helped lose some fluff) and I'm guessing that the epi-plex coupled with the high protein lead to a nice change in appearance

Horizontal push/pull today went way better than I would have imagined.
Usually, after a long layoff everything feels heavy, but I still managed to double 275 and I felt like I had 1 or 2 more but I didn't have a spotter so I didn't want to chance it.

The pump was pretty legit too. It had been 5 months + since my last break and I now know how much these 6 days off were well needed

The mirror doesn't lie...

Yesterday's deadlift day:
DL (7 for the top set)
Snatch grip DL
Front squat
Banded hip thrusts
Prowler sprints and low pushes
Bicep work

Volume, endurance, and pump were all phenomenal

I believe I only have a day or two left in the bottle :( so I will be wrapping the log up here in a few days with final stats, pics, and a review

You've been running a great log on here, man! Glad to see that Epi-Plex is working well for you. I'm loving it myself :D

Yep. Good stuff for sure. We knew we had a winner anyway. These logs just confirm it ;)

How do you setup your banded hip thrusts? I usually string a band up between the plate holders in the Smith machine rack.

Are you planning on trying something else after the cycle is over? Just curious I started about a week after and followed the entire time. Definitely can tell a strong endurance shift from -epi I have also noticed suppressed appetite.

I don't have anything lined up at the moment but that did complete a little over 8 weeks for me using -(-)Epi and I also love the endurance aspect of epi-plex. For me it is very noticeable

Thanks bro. Love how much weight I can use on barbell hip thrusts but I feel it so much more with the banded setup

Invalid Link Removedhere you go man. I usually have my upper back/neck on the bench and the thick black band is more than enough weight to get a gnarly concentric and isometric contraction

Thats cool, wish my gym had that peg setup at the bottom. I've used dumbells to hold the bands but it's a pain.

So here's my final review of Epi-plex which I will also post on the product review thread

Effectiveness: 9/10
After trying most all other -(-)Epi products on the market right now, I feel I have a general idea of what the effects should be. While I've been on Epi-plex these past 4 weeks I've seen: increased pumps, increased endurance, and an increased tolerance to a higher caloric surplus. I feel the summation of these benefits allow me to train with the frequency and intensity that I do while allowing me to see improvements in my physique and slightly above normal progression on my main 3 lifts (bench, DL, squat.)

So while I've never seen 100lb increases in my deadlift numbers or even 10 lbs of mass in a month, this is an effective natural supplement that anyone will be pleased with given they have realistic expectations of what it will do.

Dosing: 10/10
Although I've seen people take more than 600mg per day, I've always stuck with 2 caps pre workout and on off days 1 first thing in the AM and the 2nd approximately 5 hours afterwards. Given the price per serving of epi-plex, I may experiment with higher doses in the future

Value: 10/10
So far this has been the best priced -(-)Epi product I've seen. You can get it anywhere from $29.99-34.99 depending on the sites you frequent. Furthermore, 60 caps with 300 mg per cap with added piperine it's a great addition to any supplement regiment

All in all, I see myself running this more often than not

Awesome review, man! I also agree that it is a great value, if not the best value for -(-)Epi on the market.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Great review man detailed and precise I can't wait to run it
