EPI-PLEX BY COMPETITIVE EDGE LABS [CEL]

Is it me or Am I really getting upset stomach, some kind of stomach Ache from EpiPlex. It began day after i started on it..

I had the same thing with other brands of (-)epi if I took it first thing in the am. I found taking something like Hemavol ( has GMS) calmed the effect.

As I know, Epicatechin can give Upset stomach. I Will try 1 more week. If its same, I will quit :)
 
i am experiencing no stomach issues taking 2 caps 1st thing in morning on empty, and not eating anything until around 2.5-3 hours later!!!

Interesting, took two this morning fasted and felt fine
 
No issue for me either...also switched to 2 preWO, though also using HV/IV and s. Lech, so not completely 'fasted'...

Glad to hear that :)
I think PiPerine is affecting or increasing the effect of PPI medicine I use. PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor for gastric acid).

I wish Mr.Cooper could say anything about this
 
day 13:

took the weekend off, this helped tremendously!!! batteries were recharged and i was ready to go this morning.

took 2 caps of epi-flex 1st thing this morning then drove to nifs in indy. i am noticing much better pumps, this must be coming from the epi-flex. also had good endurance today, but it wasn't enough above my normal to attribute it to epi-flex---the pump on the other hand was better than i would have expected without taking anything else that would have caused a pump...

i might note that my endurance was very good going in to this log, so i am looking for results out of the ordinary!!!

what i do notice is something you commented on earlier in thread---my appetite today was non-existent. i took epi-flex around 7am, i didn't eat until around 11 and did not feel real hungry then, and only ate a small portion of what i normally would eat---it was very hot and humid outside today and that might be part of it???

The heat and humidity do the same thing to me T. I can hardly eat when it gets so hot and humid.

It could ofcourse be the reason but remember, if you are taking 3 caps at day, its 60mg Piperine. And i believe its a good dose to suppress appetite by modulating insulin signaling. (Like I wrote before).
So keep in mind, it can be the reason too .
I am 5th day on and believe me or not, my appetite is ruined! Stomach feels no good. I will give it 7 days more. If the issue does not disapear, i will drop EpiPlex for sure

i am only taking 2 caps a day...this is just 3rd or 4th day of 2 caps together---i did not notice the appetite reducing effects at 1 cap twice a day!!!

I remember when I tried KING v1 and King v2. Diarrhea, upset stomach, horrible gasses etc from day one. After 10 days on both i stopped. And stomach was 120% fine day after stopping. When something kills my appetite then something is wrong.

i am not seeing those effects...just decreased appetite for around 6 hours after taking 2 caps....i am not complaining, hard to find anything that curbs my appetite!!!
 
today is day 14-2 weeks in!!!

rain rain rain...had no reason to drive to indy today so no nifs...did do a short 30 minute arm/chest/back workout in my basement...i will now be willing to attribute the pump i am getting to epi-flex, i am not using anything else that would cause it and the pump is better than what it would normally be---plus my muscles seem to be fuller all day long....appetite is still reduced-not that i am complaining...no issues with epi-flex stomach is fine, no headaches/achy joints or anything of that nature!!!

yeah, so far so good...best part is i keep hearing to run epi products for at least 2 months, 2nd month is where it's at!!!

How long using at 3/day before these symptoms show up for ya?

Yea man starts with the sweat then comes the pump then your muscles feel fuller and you build into fat loss :)

rain again today...how many of you out there believe that rainy days has an effect on arthritis and achy joints?

Actually I do believe. Physical and mental issues can be worse.
Low pressure weather headache as example!
Low pressure weather can really be hard on some people

i have heard old timers say for many years that they know when it's going to rain when their joints get extra achy, i was just curious how many people today still believed that...i am a believer-but i am also now an old timer, lol!!!

when i argue how science isn't always right i always include weathermen in the arguement!!!!!
 
back to the log---today was day 15

again today no nifs, i spent 30 minutes lifting in basement then did 4 sets of 50 situps, then 3 sets of 10 weighted leg raises...then between rain i took dogs for a run at the park-i had to go at a slower than usual pace because sid is getting old and has a hard time keeping up, although he enjoys the hell out of it!!! duke on the other hand was pulling and tugging tryin to chase squirells, lol!!!

i am feeling really fit, much fitter than i ever thought i would be at 57...plus i have a good tan from working outside and my wife tells me i look great...life is good!!!
