EPI-PLEX BY COMPETITIVE EDGE LABS [CEL]

More isn't always better. You shouldn't base your supplement dosages on body weight unless that is specifically listed on the bottle.

that is why i asked the question!!!

Nice stuff brother. Good to hear your back on it. What type of training do you do?

i do full body workouts at a place called nifs-national institute for fitness and sports 3 times a week and have a decent gym in my basement i use for mainly arms/chest/back and shoulders, and of course a treadmilll that i often use when i don't do nifs!!! they have a tremendous amount of machines and equiptment at nifs to choose from-really a top notch facility!!!

Sounds like it from the name alone. I like whole body workouts. I used to do them alot more. In theory they make alot of sense, especially if your trying to build a foundation.

Interesting. Ive found, through much trial and error, that I tend to respond best to high frequency, rather than putting lots of my weekly volume into fewer sessions per bodypart. Ive been doing full body 7 days a week for a while now, really like it.

i am also curious if those of us over 200lbs require a higher dose?
I really do believe that. Not sure if the weight is important key, but generaly bigger doses seems better.
Study done on Follistatin concentration shown 200mg was MUCH better than 50 and 100mg. Peak of the concentration was MUCH higher with 200mg than with 50 and 100.but all 3 doses shown after 6hours it returned to baseline.
It means, bigger doses would not last longer but would deff have better effect.
I believe bigger doses would have better impact on N.O boosting too.

This could be done:
Running 2 months with just 2 caps.
If the effect is not seen after 2 months (no better pumps, endurance etc) then next time run higher doses. Actually 4 caps daily 2-3 months.
If it works better, then its clearly that higher doses IS better.

yup...for now i am just sticking to 2 caps!!! but will probably go to 3 caps for 2nd month!!!

I think thats beauty of the full body workout because with a rest day in between each session its very effective. 3-4 a week is perfect.

Lol 7 is right up my alley

'74 here :)

For sure, people have varying recovery capacities. In saying that, though, I think it takes a crapload for someone to 'overtrain'. It can be surprising just what the body can adapt to, given adequate time. Speaking for myself, I wasted so many years pretty much undertraining, partly because of the overtraining myths perpetuated by the magazines.

All you can really do is continually experiment, such that you find out what you as an individual are capable of :)

Over-training is a real medical condition and not a myth.

the beauty of it for me is so many machines to choose from, lol!!! i usually do light workouts in basement couple of times a week on top of the 3 times a week full body, plus i have a job that keeps me plenty active so for my age and with all the wear and tear i have put on my body i am pleased to be where i am at...

Since EpiPlex has Piperine and IF decreased appetite occur, then this would be good to know:

Piperine suppresses appetite by modulating insulin signaling. It does this by inhibiting a receptor in the liver known as the liver X receptor alpha (LXR alpha), which normally turns on fat-promoting target genes such as the fatty acid synthase that catalyzes the production of fatty acids. The inhibition of fatty acid synthase by piperine reduces the accumulation of fat within the liver, which increases whole-body insulin sensitivity- ultimately enhancing insulin signaling activity in the brain and reducing appetite.

Yea that basically sounds like a wholebody workout 7 days a week.

Exactly.

But I didnt intend to imply it was a myth, but rather has myths surrounding it.

I think its very much possible to overtrain, especially your cns, ive def done it a few times before and you know when it happens lol !. But i think you need to test your limits too. Idk if 7 days for a long period of time os optimal, but then again who says it isnt since every person is unique. Many people only lift weights three days a week, but like big t says he has a very active job, that could be one in the same depending on working capacity etc.

My CNS is pretty sensitive.
Tried to workout 3 days on and 1 day off whole 2way and whole bodypart 2 times 2weekly. Just after 3 w3eks I began to sleep VERY bad, I could barely fall asleep , felt so tense, appetite decreased etc.. so I took 1 week off, and returned to my older workout program and everything was normal

Yes bro:) rest is damn important :)

day 10:

took 2 caps of epi-flex this morning just to see what would happen....then drove to indy and around a hour and a half later i was hitting the weights!!! did my usual 14 machines---added more reps. the did 20 minutes on stairmaster and then 3 sets of 50 situps.

i got a pump very quickly and workout went very smoothly, almost too easily. really felt pumped after workout and the pump lasted considerably longer than usual-my muscles still fill fuller than normal...it took it a minute but it seems epi-flex is having an effect!!!

Good stuff brother! I'm from Indiana originally, about 40 miles north of Kokomo

As long as you know when to deload it is possible to train 7 days per week indefinitely.
