Rolled everything I could today with bar man it feels good seem to be fully recovered from the weekend as well no aches or pains at all

This 4 week cycle I'm trading Incline for OHP and box squats for front squats and I may add in so bench variant as well I'm undecided at This point

Yes he is. And dmax has explained before that he knows he's high and is really just trying to get a "feel" for the weights.

Can't say I understand it, but he's strong so whatever I guess. When I squat, I like to actually squat...different strokes for different folks. Not hating!

Thanks for clearing it up. There was a guy on mark bells power cast that said the same thing. I guess some guys just have it. Not hating either, I just assumed he was geared BC of it too.
 
We bitch at him all the time for it. Currently he is rehabbing a knee injury he suffered at the arnold. Something he's working on

Great day
Was told I need to beat someone on ssb squat so had to hit that top set beltless. That **** got heavy quick the guy tell me I was right there video said otherwise it's close. Did a few down sets they were pretty easy cut myself a tad short on these.

Front squats just because thats what I was supposed to do today

So in the morning I'm off to pick up a 4 day job call first of the year then over to take a piss test then to the gym. Was told by a teammate that I seem to be weak off the chest I was going to do floor press but I see In carols book he recommends wide grip again and focused pec work what do u guys think

I did his wide grip one board stuff and it seemed to help me out. I did four sets of six at an rpe of like 8 and add five pounds every week until I stalled. Agree with pec work. Getting your back tighter and wedging yourself under the bar on the press command also helped me as far as the mental side.
 
Thanks the wedging myself under the bar part I'm getting a lot better at weekly. I'll go with the wide grip I never really gave it a fair chance last time
 
That chest out cue is awful. You need to be more aggressive when you pull and really accelerate the bar. So much more potential in that lift.

No problem bud. Wanna see you do well. You were in a good squat position, the cue was yelled, and then you were in a horrible squat position. Yikes.

True I watched it again just didn't stay tight enough and I think I let some air out at the bottom too that more then it done beltless on a straight bar and 2nd time ever using ssb so I'll take it as a learning experience

Great day Sorry videos will be on FB. Felt really solid today strong fast 565 flew so I was pressured into riding my high and went for 600 that moved fast as well hit the hook on the way up thou still a pr. Then down set man they are taxing

Deadlift
Wanted to continue my streak so worked up to 545 moved well almost didn't get it thou bar was at the tips of my fingers on my right side really need to dig that hand in. Think next week I'm going to do block pulls feel like I'm slowing a bit at the top

Didn't want to do anything after that but forced myself to glad I did

No pr dinner tonight going to save it for next week have my seven year wedding anniversary then sons 5th birthday
