Welcome to my Log!!!

Will be starting May 1st, updating as much as I see fit, with a minimum of two updates guaranteed per week, probably extra during the first week while I play with the dose. I will post my first 2 workouts so you can get an idea of how I do things and after that for the remainder of the log , know that I will either be adding weight or additional reps, the reason being is that I sometimes toss the intended work and swap it depending on how I feel per session, then not much gets noted. Most often I'm good for 8-10 exercises at 32-40 sets 3-4 times a week.

This is my first log so let me tell you a bit about myself and why I thought these products were a good fit for me.

39 Years Old (turning 40 in July)
Height: 5'9.5"
Weight: 164.5 current as of 4/26
Chest calipers 3 site:
Pec -2
Ab-8
Thigh-2.5

Workout regimen ( current ):
4x12 on smaller muscle groups long holds at the top of movement on most
5x5's plus 1 set immediate after last @ 50% drop till form falls

I've always worked out, but have been really going hard for about 4 years.
Recovering from alcohol addiction which led to multiple seizures from acute withdrawal and eventual induced coma that stole a week from my life and about 20 lbs if mass. Wife was told I may not walk or talk right again.
Needless to say, they were wrong. I haven't had a drop since that day in July of 2010, no meetings, no counseling, just a will and the weights.
Problem is, my libido took a huge hit, haven't felt like I was before the events of that day.
Sexy time is often my very last priority, and I don't want to feel that way any longer.
Compounding that, last summer I ran a low carb/low fat cut for about a month too long, which stole my man mustard!!!! Have had some success regaining through dietary fats and a moderate carb intake, but still not up to how I feel it should be. Not shooting blanks anymore at least.

I know that's a lot to take in, but if your following this, then you need to know where I started and how I progress.

Other note: Spent a month on leucine,milk thistle and protein as the only supps leading into my annual physical. Had to clean out and make sure all systems were ok.

This should be a great test for both these products, and I really am hoping that I don't have to speak about the things I just spoke of after this run.

Other supps that I will utilize:
Multi vitamin (men 30+) 1 daily
Cal-Mag 400:200 mg 3x daily
Green tea extract 2-3 droppers daily
Coconut oil (MCT's) AM 1 Tbsp (14g)
GABA (AM for motility / PM for recovery) 1g/2-3G
Dymatize Pursuit Fish Oil 2 gels daily
Dymatize ELITE XT
SNS GLYCOPHASE 1 20minits before preworkout meal / 1 before bed daily
MN X-Factor 1g on heavy load days ( I respond well to 4 gells)
CRITICAL Aminos XT 1.5 scoops intrawrkout

May include I Force potassium nitrate 2-4 pre, unless the VOLUME produces a solid pump, in which case I'll save it for another day.

1st off congratulations on your sobriety, 5 years is fantastic!!!! i am celebrating my 18 year this year and life has improved dramatically!!!!

if you want an extreme pump i would take 3/3 volume hpta 30 minutes to an hour preworkout on an a empty.

Dose: Pre workout: 3 VOLUME ( V ) after moderate carb breakfast 60 minits before workout. 1 glycophase pre breakfast / 4 xfactor 45 minits before workout.

Post workout 3 HPTA 30 minits before my recovery shake. Then a feeding 30 minits after that.

Results for day 1:
First off: house guest kept us up far too late. Didn't have as much going in as I would have liked, but we got a few weeks together here so bare with me.

I have always gotten a solid pump from citrulline/arginine AKG combo strait up, so I knew it would show up. As you can see I didn't hit bi's today...... But IT FELT LIKE I DID. Finished with my tri extensions and couldn't believe the solid feeling throughout my arms, and my chest felt like I was wearing a batman costume.

I will try the 3/3 protocol for Sunday's Back and Bi workout and report. Expecting even better things.
As for today and tomorrow, now that I had no GI issues ( so far ) I will stay with the directions. Tomorrow is an off day so I will spread the HPTA out between meals.

Taking 1 V tonight before bed, let's see what pops up in the A.M.

As far as anything else like aggression, or libido, far too early in the game.

Day 2:
Early observation/reaction

Pressed for time this morning, popped 3 volume tossed a shake in my bag and headed to work.

produced a large amount of gas when taken on an empty stomach. No Bueno. But it has diminished significantly as of 1:30. Not unbearable for me, my coworker might not agree.
Will report tomorrow on training day which I plan to adopt the 3:3 pre protocol.
 
Day 3
Reaction alert: darker than normal toilet snakes. I imagine this has more to do with the herbal blend, no need to panic. Will update any changes.

Today's dose 3:3 1/2 hour after oats and coconut oil. X factor 4 gels 20 minits after that. Hit the gym an 30-35 minits later.

Pump was pretty solid in the arms, hopefully enuff damage to let the ARA have some fun. I guess we'll see tomorrow morning.
I forgot to mention that as I only take the X FACTOR on workout days, I skip the fish oil and take it the next morning so they don't negate each other.
 
Day 4

Non training day
Dose 3:3 post breakfast

Bathroom situation all good now per my mention before, still a little gassy though.

Can't say I've noticed any difference in sleep, not that I expected to. I sleep like a baby ever since the coma. Did wake up hard as a rock after the 2:2 immediately before bedtime. Hadn't happened in quite a long time unless it was induced by a massively full bladder, but on its own???? GOOD THINGS SO FAR.

Overall feeling of well being is hard to judge. Very stressed out having finished my studies and in the midst of selling a dwelling that's been a big pain in my ass as well as jacking my cortisol thru the roof. So as the closing date approaches I might get a better read when I really will have NO immediate stress inducing situations to deal with.

Working out tomorrow at home, which means supersets, mega sets, and minimal rest, moderate weight and high volume. ( not as high as EMPIRE, does that guy have a job, where does he find the time for that regimen? lol.)

Dosed 2:2 before bed
Feeling some back pumps last night
Woke up and have been fine since, not sure if it's directly involved with the supplements but I feel like my recovery would normally be longer duration from any type of DOMS. Usually feel it within the first 48 hours after my heavy days and it usually comes in small waves over the next 24. But on 5 hours of sleep, no pumps, no isolated warm feeling with stiffness, totally ready to beat up my back today.

Day 5

Pump was insane today. Had the endurance to keep going but with 4 seconds concentric on all but the EZ bar and the pushups I felt I had done enuff.

I feel like another day or two on the 3:3 2:2 would be enuff to have jump started the process and will switch back to the bottle recommendation. I feel like that is what would be best for the main reason I wanted to be a part of this log. I'd hate to get the engine running and then run out so abruptly. So I'm goin slow and steady to see if this will become a staple for a while for me.
 
sounds like a good plan bro. I ran the 3/3 3/3 protocol or about 7 days to really kick it in....

libido and mood/confidence are the biggies!!!

you won't get huge just by taking the ironchamp stack, but the motivation, aggression should make you want to workout harder, longer, imo-which should translate to gains!!!

Pump was insane today. Again from front to back, thickness.
Endurance was great as well, wish I had more time. Probably had another round in me.

Weekly wrap up:
Really looking forward to the second week, so far alpha feeling is coming around, morning wood more frequent than usual. Great pumps with 3:1 V:HPTA. Back pumps for a bit (again tonight). Endurance boost. Libido not quite there yet.
 
Day 9
Noticed that I had an aggression problem last night at a restaurant. Felt an adrenaline rush when some guy in a suit legitimately kept me from the pizza. No lie, over food I felt an animal urge/surge.
I know you all don't know who I am, but I don't get angry much at all. I usually will feel disappointed in myself for letting anything get me remotely hot headed, but last night it was food that triggered the whole thing.
Couldn't help it, didn't want to do anything but devour.

So at day 9, I'll say that my appetite is increase, and my aggression. Proof in pudding.

Aggression came to play today
Completely fasted workout due to the debauchery committed at Bertucci's last night. 5 slices , two massive meatballs, two cookies that you could put a burger in, then a healthy dose of cake.
Didn't blink at the quantity cuz my appetite was out of this world. GOOD IF I WAS TRYING TO BULK. So there is another plus.

Broke protocol and took 3 volume to see if I'd get a little boost from the AKG / citriline vasodilation action. Figured maybe I'd get more blood circulating more efficiently.
That was my theory, turned out that I felt better ( well being ), more alert and finally a little bit horny. There's the big plus. But the wife is away for another night so that's gonna hafta wait. Again, more good things from the IRON STACK.

I struggle with lethargy at times. For me I think it's a lot of different factors. Some extra rest might be what you need. You're doing well! Keep moving forward, even if it's a bit slower
 
Seems to be a stress thing. Still in the process of selling my dwelling. Doin more work than workin out lately. That will change today.

Day 14

Feeling better today. Much. Got me some deep sleep. Had a really lucid dream about volume. No lie. I don't think I've had a dream about sex in years. Just normally doesn't pop up, I normally can't recall dreaming at all. So I guess my libido is pretty active when I'm asleep. Odd.
On another note. I got about 13-14 days left of HPTA at 3 a day. I will stay with protocol because I think the third week on will be the truth for me.
My aggression again today was at a high level, I manage it, but it's foreign to me to feel it now. That's why I think I need to stay dosing as per instructed, don't much like the new dude at work, and I can't afford to act out at this point in my life.

Just saw that thebigt, I'll give it a shot. Then none throughout the rest of day.

First off , the pump was ridiculous , 3 Volume plus 3 grams GM, just nuts.
Felt better to day thanks to the Claritin D,
Got plenty of rest for this workout. Had a great amount of endurance and shorter rest periods needed.
One thing I've noticed is my constant vascularity lately. Got veins popping out of triceps on off days. Who doesn't like that?
Aggression seems to keep increasing. I refused to leave a rep on the gym floor, I had a chest program worked out, and that was that. It was the aggression that made it happen.
Libido a little better but I may have a better idea when the mom in law is away for a week or two. Good thing the volume will outlast the HPTA!!!!
