Sean's Powerlifting Journey

lol scared me too. I unracked it and it felt light. went down and my knees wanted to shoot forward so I had to try damn hard to sit back

You also squatted it MUCH deeper than the previous guy. Congrats again on the record. It's always nice to see reward for your dedicated efforts.

thanks, Jim.

shoulders and lats have given up on me. missed 305 at ******* twice. 565 deadlift for a second attempt will still give me an elite total though so I'm still in it

Good **** man! Congrats on the record!

Watching that video you shake and dip so bad in the middle I thought the bar was going overboard, but boy it goes up easy enough.

Congrats brother! Missed all the drama of 705 vs 710, but I'm proud of you for believing in yourself and taking a run at the record, now YOUR record. Go out there and get 605!

Words cannot express how happy I am for u Sean this has been a long time coming. Your dedication throughout your up and downs has been inspirational to many including me and your advice is always top notch. So live it up man celebrate your great achievement

Sean...you are the man. At one point you thought you had to go to 198 to total here, and you freaking did it a weight class up. Congrats man!

Also, RPS rules have changed, Lou.

Thumb straps on wrist wraps can be worn. False bench grip is allowed. Knee sleeves and cuffs are allowed for squat and deadlift.

Edit: Elbow sleeves

Watched greg panora hit a bench/deadlift/and total WR as well. Strong as F

Watched an 800lb raw squat too

Some of the best hashtags on instagram too. #yourunclebenchedmore

Pretty crazy squat, also real sketchy descent, but then blew it up. Nice work man.

Idk if you've given it much thought, but what're your goals moving forward?

I thought strongman and I thought 198. I'd rather perfect myself as a 220 before I move on. I can do better. I want to PR all 3 attempts in a meet.

No to strongman just because I don't feel like competing again in 6 weeks. It's still something I want to do though.

The day you put it all together, you're getting around 1650. I think Casey benched 425 and pulled 675 for the record total. Dude always could bench.

Yea I'd imagine you gotta hurtin haha. Epsom salt baths if you can stand up still after you get in lol

550 was the first meet. I squatted 465 above parallel when whatever my join date says on the forum. Then I had a 5/3/1 log and Rodja, Herder, AZMDLF pointed out all my suckiness.

I still bench the same weight. Probably less now lol

How old are you Sean?

Dang, thought you were older.

Time to focus on bench and deadlift, and maintain the squat gains.
