Thanks guys/gal, it's been a rough few weeks. Finally a day off. First one since early February! It's paying for needed items around the house so worth it.

Didn't have anything left in me... Chest and tri's were screaming at me! Was real happy with today's workout.
Will start cardio back up tomorrow and go into a mini cut. I'm weighing in at 208 with about 14%bf. Need to get that back down to 11%. Or maybe get it back down to 8%... Pants are getting a little snug lol!
 
For working all your hours you still are killing these lifts. Nice chest frying lifting.

Yeah, I didn't think much about it until yesterday afternoon. During the day I my right quad, down above the knee on the outer side knotted up. I've been rolling it and using Votaren Gel on it last night and this morning. Still sore when I run it or extend it fully. Never had that happen before. Must've been the tempo and no rest...

I'm sure there were killer DOMs. Hopefully that's all tho.
 
This isn't DOMs. Probably some slight tearing. It's warm to the touch in that area. Voltaren Gel is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug(NSAID) that is topical. Prescription only in the U.S. But I think it's OTC in Canada.

Yes it is over the counter here.. I use it on my lower back when it starts acting up. Works decent.

Gonna hit up Costco later today myself .... out of almost everything except eggs. I've got 7 hens in my backyard coop laying healthy organic eggs daily for me ..... gainz ;)

I did that for years, but honestly got tired of feeding them and cleaning the cage. Maybe another time.

I live in California .... and a new law passed this year that forced farmers to change how they raise their birds and that caused a double in price of eggs at the market .... so the price increase and my desire for healthier eggs finally gave me the push to build the coop and get the hens. Between my lady and I it really hasn't been too much work taking care of them. Love the fresh healthy eggs.
 
Wish I had the time and money to have a small farm....

Destroying your "low volume" lifting. I'd be worn out just putting 500 on the hack.
 
Tweaked the lower back somehow yesterday evening. It feels ok this morning just a little tight and my core muscles are sore and tight. Might get some light benching in today after I do some office work...
 
Heal fast. It's a shame that the back can be tweaked so easily. This holds us all from progressing as we wait on the healing process.

Back seems better now, but, the core muscles are really sore. Did I lot of twisting with cement bags yesterday. When my lumbars get real tight they pull on my core muscles and then couple in the hardware I have in my lower back it was rough last night. Couldn't bend at all. Double dose of G8 last night and I was out.

I did get a little benching in this evening. I actually kept the weight light and didn't go over 135lbs.

Got a great chest and tricep pump and keeping the weight light didn't tax my back. Hadn't done reps like this on benching in a long time. Toward the end they won out and I just couldn't hit that last rep or 2.
 
The pump "was" great. It's already down some. Still good and tight but not pumped now.

Actually, funny thing if i take too much, it has the opposite effect for me.

I've never tried more than 1 scoop, but that puts me out cold. May try a full one tonight. Dang tub is drying up on me. :(

Damn solid sessions bud. That leg day looked heavy AF!

I use the hack squat to replace BB squatting(disc can't take the compression). And I've really been pushing the leg press for the past 8 months. Thanks man!
