Ok i will be replacing my GF for her 21 km run in about 5 weeks. I am on beta alanine and COP already, so to helps with endurance what would you choosen between, Evomuse cardio tryx and milienium sport technologie cordygen ultra v2?

Firstly, what is your training regime looking like? What is your goal for this run? I.e. to just finish? Make good time? Etc.

For the training aspect, incorporate intervals into your regime. The ability to maintain a faster pace is a key component. Amateur runners tend to practice long distance by only running long distance which can only take you so far. Try 2-3 sessions a week utilising a 30s fast paced run with a 15s recovery period (walking/ light jogging) until fatigue and 2 sessions a week running a longer duration.

If you are on top of that then Cardiotryx will treat you right. I liked uncut quite a lot as well

ok thank you for the advice, i want to finish it of course at the best of my ability, so did you try the evomuse one? An you mean apnut uncut? How will it provide endurance, i see ut more as a strenght pre workout, csn you explain?
 
I like CardioTryx. Also give a look at our new Peak Elite. We had people run a few logs on here and they were all thoroughly impressed by the product's endurance boosting benefits.

Yeah ive used it. Was good for endurance. It helped a little as any supplement might. Apnut uncut allowed me to breathe easier which is a huge bonus.
 
You could also consider bulk
LCLT ~2g
Creatine ~5g
Betaine ~ 2.5g

To aid with endurance and recovery for your pre workout and they would not be very expensive

I taugh ATP was more for short burst of power, lique lifting or sprint?

I use ALCAR and creati already, betaine also but I am running out soon, might buy more, but will probably invesr in the evomuse product, plus I am in Canada, and with the actual rate change event bulk ingredient come as a hefffy price theses day. Thank you for the sugestion !

Hey @jigzz can you go into more depth about the ergonine/water weight comment? I've been using it for a couple weeks and thought maybe it was just the creatine but not sure if the carnitine is playing a role as well. Tks in advance bud.

Creatine has a tendency to make one hold water; if youre running a long time, added non functional weight can be more a curse than a blessing. For me, it greatly affected my weight (often 5kg increase due to water alone)

Of course, it can be useful in periods of high intensity as well.
 
Definitely pick up some bulk beta alanine and start dosing 2.5g/day (split in 2 doses preferably) as its muscle endurance effects only start to work after saturation which can take some time. (-)-epicatechin (a standalone epi product or a high dosed quality cocoa flavanol supp like CocoaVia) is pretty great for endurance as well but in my opinion not nearly as effective for this type of training as the beta alanine.

Personally I've been training for a 10-ish mile obstacle course run coming up in May and have been taking the above two supps with a very noticeable improvement in endurance (legs especially) and breathing capacity.

I'm not familiar with cardiotryx's profile, but if I were going solely based on single ingredients for endurance, aside from the BA and COP which you've listed:

Epicatechin
Rhodiola
Taurine
Cordyceps

In that order. And cordyceps is the basis for Cordygen, which has interesting, albeit mixed data.
