I am going to try hard this season to get into baseball. I like it, but do not love it. I used to, but need to find that spark for it again.

Anyways, MLB could have scheduled a better game for opening night. We all know the Cardinals are going to destroy the Cubs, right cubsfan815

I'm a Mets fan as well but even the most pessimistic Mets fans have to feel that we will at least compete for a wild card spot this year.

The Mets were close to .500 last season, right? With Harvey and some added offense, you might compete for a Wild Card spot. The thing that will hurt you guys is facing the Nationals and that pitching staff often.

Looks like Mejia got banned for winny. Probably explains why he was having elbow problems opening day since I thought winny is notorious for joint/tendon problems
