The system is the system, I just work it. Everyone can ask their pharmacist, I use a pharmacy who does a lot of hormone dispensing, if it's recommended to get a new bottle every 28 days. If the pharmacy says it's ok then it is ok. It's not required to bring the unused portion.
 
Yeah, I actually found that earlier and sent it to my endo and my other friend who specializes in HRT and they both laughed at me. They both said they would be investigated if it was found they were prescribing 2000mg vials every 28 days.

Not that I would want or need it, but I just had not heard of this.
 
Pinned today (glute)...
no pain afterwards other than the actual injection itself...

So today is Wednesday...First shot Saturday...4 days...
Now I'll wait until Monday...Then reset to Monday/Thursday...

I will say yesterday (3 days after first pin) I felt pretty damn aggressive and far less apathetic than I"m accustomed to...

I'm sick with Laryngitis and managed to go non stop running errands - banking, shopping, mailing, painting...you name it...for about 9 hours straight...during the whole 9 hours i just wanted someone to give me a reason....
 
Haha, yep. I am 4 years in and 5-6 hours post injection I feel like poor aggressive decisions. Control it and enjoy the alpha feel. I tend to get more impulsive and energetic like I just need to do something active.

It was 3 days post my first pin though...my bodies prob still adjusting...I pinned today and didn't feel much...but yesterday i was almost manic...it was crazy...

That's why I pin at night a couple hours before the gym. Pinning in the morning turns me into godd@mn Mr. Hyde for the following 12 hours. I just lift weights, and sleep the rest off. Much more stable that morning.

I"m having labs done on Wednesday, been a month since I began (probably a week or so longer). I got on a steady regimen of Mon/Thurs for a few weeks now. Pinned a few times in the glute...but most recently (today for example) in the delt - **** is killing me. Damn needle is an inch I think its going behind the muscle if that makes sense (delts aren't that big)...

So I'm going back to the glute.

But its hard to do it by yourself. Turning around / twisting your body etc...

The injection still hurts...Probably because I'm doing it myself...but no pain afterwards like in the delt...

We'll see how these labs come out. Hopefully I can increase the dose. I'd (obviously) like to stay on as much as possible...haven't had that "alpha male" feel for a while now...I had one day specifically (2 actually in this past month) where I just wanted somebody to test me...but that was it.

Have the tried the quads? That's my favorite place for injection (lower, outer quadrant).
 
You need to unload the weight from the side you are injecting. So take the weight off and relax, then it goes right in and I don't even feel it. If you tense up or have the glute muscle constricted, then it hurts quite a bit more.

Not yet. On the various YouTube videos I watched about injections they did say the outer quad (or what I saw as being the hip abductor muscle) just under your hip bone and between your thigh. But I don't think thats a good area - they said it was if your self injecting but I'm a little hesitant to inject there.

Gotcha.
I'm going to lean on the other side, relax the glute...and pin.
One thing I've been reading is to ensure you pin in the upper right quadrant of the glute. Is this correct?
I never have the muscle constricted when I inject, usually just before, to make sure I've got the spot right.
 
No, it isn't all that important. I happen to pin there because it is the easiest to reach, but I have pinned other areas just as successfully.

LH and TSH low....I"m assuming the LH was low because of the Androgel...TSH is low due to the sublicinal hyperthyroidism (all other thyroid hormones normal).

My endo emailed and said to try 1cc of Enanthate or cypionate every 4 weeks and then check my labs after 12 weeks...??

tell him you want an injection every week at a lesser dose for more stable blood levels. any doc with half a brain wouldent push more than 2 weeks. 4 weeks is a joke. by week 3 your crashed bad... just because you still have some in your system doesnt mean thats the way to go about dosing it. I actually would check out another endo IMO. or tell him you wand weekly or at most bi weekly shots. ( i rec weekly)
 
Sup guys,

Got my lab results. I don't have them in hand...but spoke with the nurse over the phone. Been busy as sh this week so haven't been able to drop by the office to grab a copy.

This was one month after starting 100mg cypinoate weekly (50mg 2x weekly shots).
Labs were drawn the day before my next shot was due..

From what the nurse said - Total T was 1097 (limit 1100)
And my Free was in the 200's about 50 points over the normal range.

My PCP doesn't have an issue though. She knows I've been struggling with ED and TRT for 10 years plus now...

Neway, I'll post the full labs tomorrow.

Wow, you responded pretty good to 100/week. I inject 70 twice a week and two days after injection - what should be peak levels - I was at 750. Any higher than that and my endo would think I'm up to shenanigans...
 
That is incredibly high for that amount of test. I'd be surprised if they don't lower from that on your next lab.

Yeah tell me about it. Going to pick up the report in a few. My Pcp said it's fine...so I'm going to keep going with that dosage. I think it'll peak off in another month or so as my body adjusts...

Total T 1097 (250-1100)
Free Test 219.6 (35-155)

So Total is SLIGHTLY within range...
Free is HIGH.

Doctor said OKAY!! to continue...

I'm actually pretty surprised by the results I thought they'd be lower...

Anyway, I'm going to keep going as long as i can!

I feel good. Not sure what "real good" entails...??
i guess I feel good enough...
I mean - far less apathetic.
Prior i was only hitting the gym twice a week at most (I have a neurological condition that requires medication that can make me sedated and quite lethargic).
This seems to offset that.
I lifted 3x this week - hard bro.
Days off walking, yard work...whatever...

So I feel better...from a sexual standpoint...feeling okay...haven't been full on yet...But so far so good...
