Rocket's becoming the Alpha Male with AlphaMax (sponcered)

I'm thinking I might have to get me some of these fat gripz.. I have used the fat bar at my gym but that restricts me to just BB curls.. Like the idea of putting them on everything!

In fact they would be great for building grip on deadlifts.

I have only used them twice for curls but I get a better pump in my bi's with them, not so much in the forearms. I do like them !

My gym also has the fat bars. I like using them for curling movements, but not pressing.

It might just be a mental thing, but I feel like the bar is heavier.

It does make the movement a little more difficult!

There's no doubt using a thicker bar or the gripz.. It makes the weight feel heavier. When curling 70-80lb without them I'll get an easy 12-15 or more... With a thick bar, more like 8-10

Makes sense. I always thought the bar itself was 5-10 pound heavier. I was thinking about bringing it into the locker room with me and weighing it lmao

Some bars in the gym actually are heavier. I know that in the freemotion smith (moves up/down and side/side) is 55lbs vs the regular 45lb and it is thicker

Yeah that's right. A guy in our gym builds a lot of the equipment which is cool, he made our smith machine's bar exactly 45lb so it's replicating a regular bar.

Up 4 pounds then. Are you looking leaner then when you started? I gained weight, but leaned out. It also seemed to work best after week 5.

Sorry so behind Rocket! Looks like you're steady killin it!! :) Glad you're loving the 1 arm bb rows!

Single rm tbar rows provide a great stretch, highly underrated as an exercise.

Have you ever done a meadows row?

I only tried the meadow rows once, but I don't believe I have a good apparatus to do these on, I made a new t-bar for the one arm rows and should give the meadows a try on that !

The AlphaMax is a great supplement to Hard training and a good diet, I am enjoying the benefits. I am loking forwar to a few "After" Photos very soon!

I will not be logging again till Monday, I will me in Washington DC at an Automotive Convention .

Yeah those are strong face pulls. Remember the key to them is a nice solid pull, and then pause. No need to go super heavy if it mitigates technique.

Glad you're feeling better! Glutamine and vitamin C are my go to's as soon as I feel sick or run down! Strong work as always!!

You came back strong!!!!! I love face pulls!

Solid session rocket! I love face pulls. Hardest part is standing up while pulling the weight. Lots of Stabilising your core.
