I'm a big fan of getting customer feedback before launching a product like this. It's easy to sit down and formulate something that I like but I want to hear what you guys want in your preworkout. We are looking to put out a potent preworkout formula

Thanks for the info request. I am interested in a pw that can get me going and motivated as it's the first thing I drink in the morning before the gym. Taste and texture is important because if it doesn't taste good, I won't finish it. Energy that lasts and even enhances as I work through my lifting program. Also, energy that doesn't send me into a spinning crash when it wears off. Pump in the muscles that make my skin want to burst. Hmm...that's all I can think of for now. My mind is stuck on pancakes from the "Food Porn" thread. I almost forgot, some pw's mess my stomach up bad. So, one that doesn't do that :)

I agree with you on about the long lasting energy without the crash.

STIMUL8 is one of my favorites, but it could use more in the pump category, so that could be a good place to start I think.

I really dislike pre-workouts that are so high in stims in relation to the other ingredients (ie. 1.6g beta alanine and 250mg caffeine). To get the effective dose of BA you are getting 500mg caffeine. Maybe some amentoflavone. A new product from Prime Nutrition has 25mg -epi in it, I'm not sure what that little dose will give you, but was intrigued by the addition of -epi in a powdered supplement.
And No creatine please!

Theacrine Dicaffeine Malate/Citrate Naringenin Potassium Nitrate Citrulline Norvaline Taurine Alpha GPC Phenylpiracetam

Decent layout here.

I'm thinking something along the lines of maybe 150mg caffeine per serv. that way if you need 2x the dose of the other ingredients your only going to get 300mg. Some companies with 2 scoops can be 500! I feel that a slightly smaller and more manageable amount would prevent a huge crash combined with some B vitamins.

Focus is a huge part of a preworkout for me, love something to really get me deep into a zone, almost a trance. That way all focus is on the exercise, mind muscle connections and allowing yourself to really get at it.

I agree with this, although it is Sunday morning and by noon today I will have had 5-6 cups of coffee, I think 150mg is perfect for a pre-workout. Not everyone tolerates caffeine as well as others. One of the things I see in the reviews I read that people really like is the Lack Of A Crash in a pre-workout. For me I love the pump, so it is hard to please everyone. But I believe Platinum Nutraceuticals is on the right track!

Yeah no doubt, a pump is an important factor for myself as well. It makes me feel like I'm actually trying that muscle correctly, if I don't have a crazy pump I feel like what I'm doing in the gym isn't working. Bit of a weird outlook but just my odd brain I guess :)

For sure! I don't have as high a shim tolerance as most people so I'm always disappointed when a new pre-wo comes out with a good profile but so high in stims that it would be a total waste to try it at a lower serving. I also like the flexibility to have green or black tea throughout the day and still take a full serving of my pre.

I'm not gonna get all sciency because I don't know all that. I like a pwo to give good pumps, not over the top in stims, although I want to know I have taken it. As well as good focus to get in the zone and have that mind muscle connection.

200mg caffeine
Theacrine
2g Beta alanine
6g Citrulline
1g COP
2g LCLT
1g HICA
1g Agmatine
200mg L-Norvaline

nitrates are going to be very hard unless you want to pay off kramer if that is the case i will add my preference of Arginine Nitrate (which is a nitrate inhibitor) meaning the more you use it the less build up of tolerance.

Thanks Rocket3015 hopefully my idea can help.

INGREDIENTS FOR PUMP
6g Citruline Malate
1g Agmatine
2g Glycerol

INGREDIENTS FOR FOCUS
1g Alcar
1g Tyrosine

Maybe some Epicatechin

PLEASE...
NO Beta Alanine
NO Creatine

Most guys that are cycling dont need any additional stimulants. What we need is a pre workout that gives a great pump,
good focus and clean energy..! Theres enough stim based preworkouts on the market.

For great Pre-Workout Formulas look at

Conqu3r DemiGod Stim Free by OL
Pre Jym by Jim Stoppani

Was just getting ready to call you out for quoting our formula until I got to the bottom of the post. Appreciate the love.

I would never not give credit where credit is due. Its a great formula, even better then
Pre Jym and that used to be my favorite :)

I love OL and their products. I just ordered my 2nd bottle of Conqu3r DemiGod StimFree

By the way, when the big man @ OL was 1st introducing the original Conqu3r to am.com,
I was the one that suggested the StimFree version :)
