I think I might commit to that classic raw as I'll plenty of time to train for it, November, and get some respectable numbers.

We both have a poverty bench, and trade squat and bench, would be fun.

I think it'd be cool as hell, man. Once I hit 705+ at 220 I've been wanting to go 198 or 242.
 
I vote shredded 198.
 
Shredded 242 would be tough, but goal would be 760sq. 198 would be easier to just clean up to 205 and water cut the rest. For being 5'9", 242 makes more sense.

This is all light years away lol
 
For being 6'1", 275 makes sense. Oh well...
 
Pretty much Edit: I guess it depends on what we call "shredded". IMO, it's anything that's less fat than me now haha

I was thinking like 10% (not technically shredded), but 242 @10% is hyooge.

I'm guessing you're like 17-20% now @220, so it's a sizeable jump. Not hating, just saying it'd be hard to do
 
What meet in Vegas are you talking about?

USPA Nationals in November, just need a qualifying total. Then there's Worlds in December, which is a higher total to qualify.

Ohh I thought USAPL. So..I don't have an unwrapped total so that may be out of the question lol Maybe I can do a summer meet

USPA has raw and classic raw (wrapped) division. USAPL doesn't have classic and is tested.

I'll look into it. What's the qualifying total for 220? Nov is my wedding anniversary so that's an easy excuse to fly to a meet in Vegas.

**** I need a bigger bench at 198 lol, I think they upped the qualifying standards this year to make it more competitive.
 
What do you weigh now, slim? Water cut from 210 and don't dick it up like you did last time you tried 198 lol.

I'm 220. Diet alone will put me at 210.

lol and **** that meet. Could have been top 15. 20 minutes longer in the Epsom/alcohol bath and I would have made it.

You can make 198 from 215 bro. I made it from 214 to 199, should have saunad that last pound out lol.

I highly recommend Hippo style renegade rows like in D's vid. So much easier on the core so you can push weight. I rowed like a bitch trying to do it from pushup position.

Still hungry. The low cal days are making me demolish the high cal days

That sounds good to me! Squat late last night & woke early to pull this morning without much food inbetween....until I finally got to hit the chinese buffet at noon - I think they had to bring another pot of white rice out I laid it down so hard :cheers:

I'm ravenous lately and it hasn't been negatively impacting me to eat more. :o
