oh my buddy found his deadlift slippers so I used those dudes today. And I'm definitely pulling in those for the remainder of the cycle and comp. I'm ordering some as well.

Yup planning on coming the whole day to be there for you. Powerlifting meets are boring, but so am I, so I enjoy it. Plus I wanna get the vibe there; never been to Power Body and that's where I'm doing mine in March. What time is rules, and what time does lifting begin?

rules are at 845 and lifting starts at 9. You ever seen a lifter have buku carb heavy protein cakes on hand?

^^ should have went with a 7% fatigue. My right glute felt tight and was "pulling" in the hole. So my left leg compensated and it collapsed. Dumped the bar.

Are you supposed to warm up before rules then I guess? No I've never seen that, but I've seen a guy pack a roller cooler with sweet potatoes, ground turkey and peas lol. My first meet the organizer, who is awesome, had like a billion wraps from the walmart deli he was just giving out....chipotle steak was def something I was glad I ate AFTER finishing deadlifts lol

I have no idea. I'm assuming the rules will be fairly quick, then our flight will warm up.

That can honestly go either way. I'd seriously call or email them so you can find out for sure - much better to time your breakfast out, and just be properly prepared.

Gonna bust tree-hunned on bench homeslice! Deads are coming in high 4s too. That double looked like it wasn't too much trouble.

it wasn't bad. I pull at 92% next Wednesday so we will find out!
335/300/465 is 1,100. This is gonna happen.

I doubled 355 for squats so I hope I get over 335 lol

I'm aiming for;

375/300/485 1,160 total. Record for 148.75 class is

440/302/484 (held by two different ppl) and my gym owner holds the total, which is 1155

But, the state record for deads is 450. Gonna take dat ;)

maybe. Leverages do play a roll, strength is built tho so I could be just strong.

For example there is a kid on IG that's 5'8-5'9" and only weighs 123lb. Sumos 430lb and benches 270 on the platform.

Having a 1200lb total is impressive regardless especially in a raw weight class.

I'll never put stipulations on what is "more" impressive regarding height/weight because you have to work for your total. Leverages do help, but you still have to put work in
