Red meat Vs. chicken or turkey

Not trying to get epic at all on my end. It really is simple which ever one you can eat the most of regularly will work best for you.

An extreme example: You have the mos powerful PED in the world but you hate to take it and skip doses all the time=crap results. Food is the same but not as extreme. You could have the best cuts of lean steak in your fridge but if hate steak and eat very little of it then it is NOT the best choice for you.

These guys are idiots.... my proof is from years of experience working with all sorts of athletes and trainers. Personal experience. You obviously have none because anyone worth a $#!÷ knows beef is better than chicken or fish for recovery and growth. If you're training your ass off the extra calories are needed... can't believe some pencilneck thinks otherwise.

Lol'ing hard.

Lolololol you said pencil necks.

Can someone who understands the idea behind MACRO (or dense, large, effing big) nutrients and their value to annabolism (or the state of growth) help a brother out on how to add a pic to my profile? I don't feel like creating a full post about it lol

Im just saying. When I created this thread it was just from my personal experience eating red meat for a month or so straight and tracking the reaction my body had. I did put on size as well as more BF %. But I did notice more strength increase gains from strictly red meat.

I thought for a whole there we we're having at least a decent debate until yolked had to get all defensive
You had a perfectly reasonable reaction and thought process due to the reaction

I never heard anything about "if someone doesn't like beef" or whatever... I'm talking about what the stuff is made of and what your body does with it... it's a superior food source compared to chicken or turkey

You have years of experience working with millions of athletes?

Kidding aside, I just reread what you wrote. Are you now telling me beef is superior because its more calorie dense or because of its amino acid profile? Because of course more calories will accelerate recovery IF those calories are not made up in the chicken diet. But no HP nutritionist would make that kind of mistake.

This is a stupid argument.

This will literally go nowhere, but ill be watching the millions of beef eating athletes very carefully.

In all seriousness, does it really matter? Both are protein. But both contain very different macronutrient and micronutrient profiles. Eat both or whichever you prefer.

If you knew any history of sports nutrition you'd know that athletes going back 50 years or more figured out, from experience, that they recoverred better, and got bigger and stronger when the primary source of protein was beef.. nowdays we KNOW it has the highest concentrations of creatine, vs other protein sources.... if you were really educated you would know. I don't need to say anything else.

This has got to be a joke. Strawman argument at its finest.

Dude it disent work that way! You can't just say "athletes know from experience" lol. It is a fact like jiggzz said-- calories= energy for things including recovery/preformance--to argue that beef has some sorta methological power is just stupid. I'm don't tho seriously it's like arguing wether WWE is real or fake

What brand of Gasoline do you think is best ???

Chicken is my staple protein and I alternate between salmon and steak each day to make up the rest of my protein intake. Might even throw in some tuna once and a while. My favorite is steak but I only eat the good stuff and could not justify the expense.

Salmon and steak every other day!. Dang that's livin!. It's a damn shame I don't have the money to eat Steak and Salmon every other day!

It's not a post about what's best if you don't like beef.. just saying.

If you really work with athletes then you would know that what is best only matters if there is compliance with the nutrition program. So I stand by my statement that what is best is what you can get someone to regularly consume and assimilate. Personal preference is something that has to be taken into consideration when deciding what is "best."

That's not what the post is about... that's a different subject. A dedicated athlete will do what it takes in my opinion. it's not a post about what's the best option if you don't like beef...mod edit: FIRST LAST WARNING nowhere on this post does anyone talk about getting picky eaters to eat whats best for their performance...

You are an idiot if you think ~1g of creatine from beef is enough to enhance performance.

Just give it a rest

The only one who has thrown insults in this thread has been you when anyone has disagreed with you. Well I guess I am a bitch because I like to look at all possible variables when it comes to individuals and their nutrition. We have covered all the pertinent info so I am done. Also I lol because of everyone in here I AGREE that beef is superior. I have no real studies to support this just my personal experience(like you lol.) So congrats on attacking the one guy in here that was on you side:thinking:

Can we all just agree that a diet higher in lean red meat will produce better strength and size gains than the same portions of lean chicken breast?? I'm not feeling the love here fellas!!!

I believe we should be eating Horse Meat....Because we have beat this Horse To Death !!!
