I had it in me but I knew I wouldn't get 8 so I dropped down to what I'd be able to get a solid 8 for. Should've went for what I could huh?! Thanks Thomas! Maybe end of next week I can video.

Yeah, just hit it. When I say "screw it I'm hitting what my body says I can't", I usually surpass what I expected.

Bought myself some new tennis balls to roll my back on and the dogs are begging to get ahold of them! They can't wait to tear them to shreds! Lol

Sarge tries to steal my lacrosse balls... He doesn't even like balls though. Weirdo.

Lol it's like a game! The big one (Jessie) just sat there talking to me and turning around in circles! She can destroy one in 5 mins or less. I need to get lacrosse balls! I'm sure they work better anyways!

Just wanted to drop in...I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We made it to Arkansas to my parents house about 8:30 last night. We will be here until Monday. I already feel like a fat slob! Lol Diet is pretty much out the window- just going to enjoy myself without going crazy. I'll hit it hard once we get back to town.

Funny thing, last night my mom asked "so why are you deadlifting 145lbs?" Me- "it was actually 205lbs" Lil sis "well, I think it's cool" Mom- "you're going to hurt yourself" me- "no, Mom, if I do it right I won't hurt myself! It will actually strengthen the muscles so I don't hurt myself doing every day things"

Gotta love all of the conversations about the "odd" life we live! Lol Both of my parents are young but have poor health- that is one of my biggest motivations to push harder!!

I've been avoiding talk about lifting to my family because I really want to say "The freakin reason you are so fat and unhealthy is that you don't lift or exercise and all you do is use excuses to "protect" yourself from injury!" This would not go over so well so I bite my tongue!

Thank you! It was a wonderful trip! It's been 2 years since I saw my little sister! :)

Thank you!! Definitely will be hitting the diet hard now! I have learned that none of them really understand not care much for anything I'm trying to do! That's ok though.

Thank you Mark! Hahaha wouldn't it be awesome if we could say that! I don't usually talk about any of it but my Mom brought it up. She is one of my biggest motivations! She is only in her 50's and has a long list of health problems. Many of which could be much better if she would've been more active and ate right years ago or even now! It really is so sad seeing people so miserable when you know they could feel so much better with healthier lifestyles!
 
We got back home this evening about 5...I planned to get some work in at a local park while we were there but it rained the whole time. We did a little improvising and had some sit-up and push-up contests inside just playing around. On the way back home, we stopped just over halfway at a hotel with an indoor water park! Had a blast riding the slides over and over - gave me the chance to get some stair climbing in! Lol Can't wait to get back in the gym tomorrow!
