It will shut down your natural system, and you should be able to restart your system with clomid if you decide to come off if you don't have endocrine issues (which you probably do if you were prescribed testosterone)
 
It's misleading to say injectable is no "bio-identical" since the ester which is there to slow absorption is not actually used by the body, and once it has been cleaved the hormone that is actually used is "bio-identical." In addition documentation for Testopel states to regularly get labs for hemoglobin and hematocrit....

You start a therapy because you are unable to produce enough natural test on your own to bring you into the normal/normal-high range. That is why it is considered "for life", since you will need it to stay in normal range. Once you stop, you go back to the levels or lower than when you started. Doctors may try to kick start your natural production depending on whether it is determined to be primary or secondary hypogonadism through alternative means before resorting to exogenous testosterone. This is why it is so important to make sure you are getting thorough testing and lifestyle management review before going that route.
 
I have to have it! I'm not making LH OR FSH. My test levels were only 49 when I started test cyp. At the ripe old age of 40.
 
Yes my first testing to see if I was low & it came back at only 49. So I ask the Dr so does this mean My ex-wife stole my balls in the divorce..... He laughed & said I may want to check! Lol!
Sent me for more testing found out it was my pituitary not making LH & FSH
