Operation Abomination: Getting freaking MASSIVE!!!

I'm 36 now and I pretty much struggle to maintain muscle/strength now. When I was in my mid 20's I pretty much added reps or weight every week and mass came with it. Now it seems like I'm just avoiding injury and trying to maintain.

Really? I just turned 36 and I'm almost in better shape than when I was in college. What does your routine and diet look like?
 
I'm not in bad shape I just have some injuries that hold my back. I almost completely ruptured my right pec a little over a year ago but it was the muscle that tore and the ortho said I'd be better off not having surgery. One of the mri's showed I also have a partially torn rotator cuff. I think its as much my playing basketball as it is my weight training. I've do several types of workouts from max-ot to 5x5 and now I'm doing higher reps.

When I was in college I was more of a power lifter but I don't think I have the frame for it. I'm about 5'10 and weigh about 180 but if I quite lifting and stayed in shape I could probably get down to 140. At my heaviest I was around 200
 
Yikes! It's good that you're able to workout that well with those injuries though. Keep it up!

Man yea, you have a decent bit to keep your eye on there. Whats your overall goal? Doesnt sound like your pleased as of yet lol

I'd like to add some lean mass while keeping/gaining athleticism. I just have to be careful with my joint while doing it. I'd like to do some thing like Follidrone now that won't mess up my hormones but I have a $50 gift/debit card I want to use and its a few $$$ over everywhere lol

I get ya on that part. It can be expensive but keep an eye on the auctions, ppl sell them from time to time

Long hectic week 70hrs of hell but been looking into different programs and thinking of running the Smovlov base template for 21days. Thinking it should be worthwhile and curious to see what I can make off of it. Still only reading into it though l
 
Hope everyone has had an awesome Thanksgiving and sry about my lack of updates. Been hit with some of the best news and some worse but life goes on and it's what I make of it. I hope to be starting another log and have been tracking in the good Ol journal for the moment. One bottle of Viron down and will be posting a 6-week review of it soon enough.

I have had the luxury of trying both Conqu3r stim free and high volume and I will also have a report on that as well.

Got through my Teatrim sample sent to me that will be reviewed also
