Who Plays Video Games Here?

41.5 here and been gaming since Atari5200. Games like Montazumas Revenge, Kid Icarus, Centipede.....Commodore 64....yeah get some! I have yet to pull the trigger on the PS4. By the time I upgraded from PS2 to PS3 the same year the PS4 was dropped. I was quit pissed because I finally came to terms with paying the $. Now I hate how they plan to come out with a new COD every year but they package it so you spend an additional $80 on maps throughout the year. It's a freaking $200 Game by the time you spend money on the game and maps. That's only if you don't purchase special additions. Gamer for life but I had to chill on the systems for moment.

That's ok at least you have some common sense. Not sure if PC gamers still exist but I've heard of some kids spending upwards of $5000 or more on PC just for games.

Commodore 64 was my first computer. I loved playing Karateka and Fist II- The Legend Continues on that.

 
You don't need a 5000 dollar pc to play games hah... Honestly a 500 dollar one could play most games, best would be around 1k.
 
Zork! Oh man, yeah! I think I had that on either Atari or on my C64. That's digging back a while!

Yeah, I played WOW on a basic PC and chilled on that game as well. I used to play the older PC games like Police Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Kings Quest but again I grew up in these. Spending 5k on a CPU is flat out retarded. Hey, that's what these parents want their kids to have.

Damn I don't know how you guys can still play the old games. New graphics have ruined them for me. Looking forward to the new far cry when I get some extra time and scratch.

No I think it's called Slingshot.

It's well worth the few dollars. XCOM enemy unknown and the old original game were two of the best strategy games I've ever played. I wish they'd do more turn based games like that.
