not letting your roomate use your pots and pans.. help?

Alright so basically I may be a little cleaner than your average roomate, but is it too much to ask your roomate to clean the pots and pans right after they're done using it? Its my only ocd gripe, bc we had roaches. We exterminated them and I want to keep them away. I also get pist when i need to cook, but have to clean up his mess before I can start cooking.

Anyways my roomate bitches if I tell him to do anything, so how much of a dick move would it be if I just told him he couldnt use my pots and pans? I know thats kinda low, but he literally has no pots and pans. It would be different if he cleaned my pans right after he uses them, but since he doesn't I figure this is the next step.

Oh plus this guy doesnt even have a job, so he definitely has time on his hands..

Have a dishwasher? If not just tell him to wash his dishes after he is done with them, he doesn't have to do all the dishes, just the ones he uses

i dont think its out of line. if he doesnt clean up after him self, he cant use your ****. plain and simple!

Yes I do have a dishwasher... Which means there is no excuse to not clean up after use. Literally a little scrubing and all you have to do is put it in the washer. I literally never ever leave my dishes out. I formed the habit of cleaning my mess as soon as I finish eating/cooking. Good to know that is not way out of line. Any suggestions how to bring it up to him without being that b*tch roomate?

I nagged him one time about taking out the trash and he stormed on me saying he doesnt like being told what to do and I need to stop nagging. Ever since then I have been careful about picking my battles.

I know this may not be the advice your looking for, but Ive been there before. Let this be motivation to grow your life and set up your future to have your own place to live.

Believe me can't wait to graduate from school, so I can afford to do so.

Grow some balls and tell him if he is gonna use it clean it. It's disrespectful on his part to not clean up after himself and assume you going to do it.

Yeah youre right I needa be straight up. I guess bc the last time didnt work being straight up I assumed I was being a nagging roomate.

Would leaving a note be too passive for the next time it happens?

Leaving notes is what catty girls do. Be a man and tell him. He sounds like a whiny girl anyways if he threw a tantrum last time.

Haha yeah true, ill stick to words. Should I even mention the fact that all of the plates and pots are mine... Or leave that information out until the problem arises again?

Yeah he was a little b that last time. He told me to stop being his mom, so I was like look if Im not your mom I shouldnt be cleaning your sh*t.

It's not relevant. The issue is that he won't clean up not that he's a broke bum.

Alright good deal and glad Im not overstepping boundaries.

Lessoned learned and now I know I should go for a girl roommate next time. They typically are way cleaner

And more likely to play with your balls.

Quit being a pu$sy and tell him to clean up after himself or buy his own ****. On another note I had a hot lady Dr playing with my balls last night. Unfortunately it was business not pleasure got a hernia at work: -(

Along with Percocet valium and me a shot of diluadid Dr today said might not be a hernia but a torn groin muscle

Edited for typo

torn groin sounds awful. But why would a doc prescribe dilaudid. Even when I had my gallbladder out all they gave me In and out of the hospital was Vicodin

They didn't prescribe it they gave me a shot to manage the pain while I was there. In other news the Damn workmanship comp Dr didn't approve the ultrasound and told me I just pulled it. Bich I've pulled a muscle before completely different and far more severe pain

They usually will put you through physical therapy for a month before they run any tests. Go to a different doctor, my doc will run anything I ask as long as it's reasonable and I demonstrate severe enough symptoms. Could have torn it. How did it happen?

Pushing around molds for fiberglass rv parts. Think doing heavy sled work all day. No insurance right now but if she feeds me the same bs at my follow up I will request a second opinion

No insurance? Well then getting and MRI or ultrasound will be expensive. Especially if you tore something. But if it happened in the workplace they are required to send you to one of their doctors of choice and get evaluated. If she spews the same bs request another doc from your employer or go to them with another doc in mind.
