TGR's Cheetos Chraining

Ok guys, what do you think?

I guess I don't have many notes, other than I don't think I've done these ten times. It still feels heavy on my shoulders.

Also, does anyone know why iMovie chopped off the video?

The first couple reps in the vid were super! The last one is hard to tell if you went all the way down. But, you got the booty going low in the first couple!!

Yeah, camera placement was bad.

On that one, the bar started rolling fwd which is why I came up. I almost didn't add that video in, but said "oh well".

The fronts are still very new to me...

Those front squats looked pretty good for having not done them very much. I think that the bar will always feel heavy on your shoulders no matter how much you've done them haha. I probably missed you comments elsewhere but in the squat videos you have posted I see that you pause at the very bottom. Why is that?

205 was high but they all looked solid to me. The first 2 are where I go to, although w/ fronts you can obv get deeper if you're looking for further activation and to keep the weight as light as necessary (making it easier to hold/handle for longer duration/easier on joints).

Got a little sleep and you went crazy on your arms!! Lol Killer arm pump! Front squats look good! They feel heavy on my shoulders too! I haven't done them much though.

Thanks Classic. I pause so that in the videos it's easier for me to see how deep I got. :)

Also, I figure it would strengthen my hips, and make it easier coming out of the bottom? I may be wrong...

Do you have a log going? I couldn't find it.

As always, thanks for the input. I look forward to your insight.

Leg day... Bahahaha

You did kill it today!! That was an excellent workout! Happy birthday to your wife!! I hear quite an evil laugh with that leg day! Lol That should be pretty awesome!

Somehow I missed this! Must've been posted during the off and on with the site this morning. Great workout and yep, I'd say you killed it! Make sure and treat your wife right! If momma ain't happy no one is happy!

Great, take her on leg day so she never wants to lift again......why must we always sabotage ourselves? :silly:

I was joking. I'll just show her around, let her pick what she wants to do and just make sure she's doing it right. She def couldn't handle a meadows routine.

Horrible, horrible leg day. It may have been mental though. I wasn't excited to go as I normally am. Just tired.

Wife didn't go either. Maybe next time.

You might feel it was a bad day and im sure that was all mental.... But Thomas those are some heavy leg curls.. The important thing is you went in, got it done and now can move on. Tomorrow will be a better day bro.

I agree! Great workout man. Those are some strong leg curls. And banded leg press, man those sound tough with that weight!

Thanks Simon. Leg curls felt good, but as soon as I got in the rack I felt beat. Even 135 felt heavy today.

The banded press was fun. Had a crazy burn going. It was supposed to be an escalating set, but I figured that with the band and just keeping tension on the quads they'd wear out quick, and that they did.

I forgot to add, I needed some pauses on the extensions. They were explosive with a 2 second flex, or freeze at the top. Killed me.

Thanks Classic. I pause so that in the videos it's easier for me to see how deep I got. :)

Thanks Kat!!

I see. As far as strengthening your hips goes try box squats. Dead stop on the box while keeping the glutes, legs, and back (and the rest of you) tight, then explode off. I don't have a log on here, but I may be starting one on another board so if that happens I'll probably copy the entries into a log here. I'll let you know if I get one up. :)

Happy belated birthday to your wife as well!

Exactly! You still moved some heavy weight and got the work done! I wouldn't expect anything else though! You always kill it despite how you feel! I can't get my hubby to go with me either! :(

We are our worst critics. Your bad day is better than most people's good days. Rockin those weights brother!

Good idea on the box squats Classic. Will do, and thanks.

Thanks Mark. Not being "okay" with every one of our workouts, I guess, is what pushes us to lift heavier weights.

Grow day today!

It's late but don't worry everyone I'm here now. You can resume being awsome.

Gotta have the bad ones to make the great days, naw mean? Still went in, kept your head down, and got the work in. That's the difference between training and exercise - training is for something greater than today. You should enjoy it most of the time, but it's gonna be hard and there's gonna be days where you've gotta just cowboy up & get through it.

The fact that you did just that shows what kind of person you are. That's something that the vast majority of the population can't relate to in the slightest.

Ha. That's EXACTLY what I thought. The DB flexes took a lot out of me, and I was like, "ok, my left pec is done". How embarrassing...

Crazy strength on the dumbbell presses. Your making fun of me aren't you.:buttkick:

Woah! That session seemed to last forever!

There you go with the 45's on the destroyer set too! Sheesh! Strong pressing too!

Killer workout my man. You and Simon with those bands are always bringing it. Torturous destroyers too!

I'm sweating my butt off this morning. Only had half a scoop STIMUL8 plus a third scoop IGNITE2. The short RESTS kill me on back day.

My grip is progressively getting better. I haven't used chalk nor straps in several weeks. I didn't have any grip issues until the second to last set.

Holy crap! I'm just wiping the sleep from my eyes and you've killed it already! Nice work! BTW, I hate short "breasts" too! Lol

LOL. I am using talk-to-text, and I actually deleted "short head breast" before re-talking. My iPhone doesn't understand a southern lingo, I guess.

Dangit...

Thanks Mark!

Got the back pumping blood! Strong lifts man. Those deads are getting up there especially with bands! Killin it dude!!

Lol @ the short breasts! Hate I missed that one before you fixed it!...that was a killer back session!!

Myself, I like short breast!

Definitely go in hand! ;)
