Emma Dalton, 25, has a tiny 24-inch waist and weighs just eight-and-a-half stone - despite scoffing FOUR times the daily calorie intake recommended for a woman.

Her incredible diet sees her chomping on a whopping two kilos of chocolate, 500 grams of cheese and 26 pieces of fruit and veg every day.

Breakfast: Third of a box of cereal and a piece of toast
Snacks: Packet of chcolate digestives
Lunch: Baguette sandwhich plus fruit, yoghurt, three chcoclate bars and packet of crisps
Dinner: Two servings of lasagne and garlic bread, large salad with six portions of fruit and veg
Dessert: 10 cookies, two brownies, four muffins, two puddings, and a slice of cheesecake
After dinner snacks: Plate of veg, 20 pieces of fruit, pack of Dairylea, three cheesestrings, and three Laughing Cow triangles

There is a school of thought that some people literally cannot become obese, no matter how much they eat.

I recall an experiment carried out in the 60's where (in exchange for early release) prisoners volunteered to be put on 10,000 calorie diets while being monitored. They gained weight, but some plateaued quite early and never became obese.

I think generally the body tries to maintain a certain weight no matter what.

I know myself, I absolutely have to eat over 5,000 calories a day to maintain 175lbs. If I just ate when I was hungry, I would be 130lbs, and I was for a long time.

People say it's a blessing to have this metabolism, but I really have a love/hate relationship with bodybuilding because of it. I honestly don't enjoy eating so much food all the damn time, and yet if I don't, it's like any time in the gym is wasted. Sometimes I'm really not even sure if bodybuilding is worth it to me anymore. I sit here at 157lbs, having lost 20lbs because once again I got sick of eating a stopped lifting. :(

I'd say the reverse would be better only need to eat 1000 calories to maintain weight AND have a small appetite. Save so much $$$
