R-ala post-workout counterproductive?

I like the profile of this supplement (its swedish), but would consuming r-ala after a workout be counterproductive?

50mg of R-ALA isn't going to do much for insulin sensitivity/GDA properties if that's what you're asking about.

Also with post-workout, insulin sensitivity is already increased so there wouldn't really be a need to dose it then. The half life of R-ALA (would go with Na-R-ALA personally) is roughly 17-22 hours I believe, so dosing prior to a high carb meal in the morning or pre-workout would work just fine.

This exactly. Won't do any harm. Dose is very low.
 
depends on what kind of training you're doing and what you're eating post-workout. there's no harm in it
