Mucuna Pruriens vs Camellia Senensis

Whacked

RE: Increasing Dopamine Levels for mood support (*This thread is not about prolactin inhibition)

Is the CS a potent dopamine-supporting additive !???

Camellia Senensis is Green Tea .... so with that in mind I'm sure you already know how green tea effects you. IMO Macuna Pruriens wins as far as Dopamine/Mood Support. Green tea is good to have every day for multiple health benefits but the Macuna is more specific of a supplement

Thanks TKC. I wondered why Prolactrone added it and assumed (no time to research it) it was another dopamine support. Prolactrone gets great reviews.

I think EGCG from CS inhibit COMT enzyme that converts L-DOPA into dopamine (which can't cross BBB so can't get in brain to have its CNS effects you want).

But I think dose for this would be needed like 5 gram so sounds good in theory to have it added but in practice not much help regarding this cause dose they add in each cap is too low.

Hmmm. Interesting. Thanks Ahh123

Actually COMT is the enzyme which degrades Dopamine. And EGCg is thought to be both a Dopa Decarboxylaze (the one which converts Dopa to Dopamine) and COMT inhibitor here. There were a discussion a while ago of effectiveness of that..
