Dmax's pursuit for power & performance

You got it. I benched 275x4 then like 2 weeks later I hit 315. Something like that.

And you'll crush 500 DL. Haven't you hit 475x2? That's got 500+ written all over it

So I was looking back 1 year ago I started my original 5-3-1 log and here are the finial numbers from that first month Cycle and year comparison

Squat 9/16/13
295×1 current gym pr is 510 +215lbs

Bench 9/17/13
215×1 current gym pr 295 +80lbs

Deadlift 9/19/13
365×1 current gym pr 485 +120lbs

Needless to say I'm extremely happy with my 1 year progress and I'm looking forward to what this next year will bring

Well back to work tomorrow finally jump right back into 5-6 10's Woot at least I'll have some extra money for a bit to buy some things I need like new belt and overkill wrist and leg wraps and hopefully save a little bit of cash this is a only suppose to last a little over a month

Looks like quality stuff

Which do u recommended Sued or the hard leather?

Edit :and I would probably say buster cause everyone at work calls me buster lol

haha awesome man

I dunno. My EFS was suede. I just got plain leather just because I figured they'd have it in stock and I wanted a new one ASAP. Got it in the mail within 3 days.

Wow nice

My current belt is sued but it's 3in front 4in back I want one for squat that is the same all the way around

I wonder about durability of the harder leather but I really like that u can get digital camo

Wow! That's some amazing progress in a year! Great job!!!

Two things to remember on squat thou I use wraps now and I used to weight 400lbs so I think they are just remembering what life used to be like lol

Yeah losing that type of weight is great though, most people when they get heavy just think it's like over, what you did was great though. Some journey. I'm sure you can still squat in the 400s without wraps though.

Maybe I was going to try 405 last Tuesday but said screw it this isn't what I came he for this week does call for parallel box squats at 405 and 415 for 5 going to do them wrapless at least try

Long day for me first day back to work training 11hrs worth so I was pressed for time at the end of the day

Parallel squats were a bit harder then anticipated so only did 3's I will adjust my numbers a bit

Front squats were good felt strong thought about trying for that all mighty 315 but stuck to the plan

Sumo was great moved well good weight on them and reps

Abs I cut short due to time still had to eat dinner and drive home and it was 830

Thats it thanks for reading

They were ok I don't push them that much most about 20 for the lightest and low teens for top I just wanted to get some good calf work in lol

First day back in the refinery and weld testing it will be nice to have money again

I got to say the crane they are putting up is pretty amazing going to have 450 feet of boom and something like a million lbs of counter balance they just have the base done atm and it's massive

Awesome box squatting and please DMax, promise us to be careful around those damn cranes!

Dang!! Always impressed with your lifting!!

nice lifting and congrats on getting back to work man. oil refinery I'm guessing? thats a massive crane. and yeah be careful, had a guy fall 20 foot off a crane yesterday, not sure the exact details but approximately 20 foot drop, he was responsive as he left the mill which is good.

wow jeez thats one impressive crane. i know they are replacing the one furnace top here soon, i think next year. can't wait to see how big of a crane they bring out for that.

Good work, Dmax. I agree with you, close grip incline is a great bench builder. My shoulders don't like them very much, but my bench likes it. Keep after them, it looks like you have room to improve there.

Well I passed my weld test so I'm good to go now I just have to keep passing any x-ray weld I may get

Also got my cardio in today had to go up a 300 foot tower 3 times today always a good time

After this weekend I'm on a 6 10s schedule so mite run minimalist method without wraps while I'm not able to train with the crew I really like the way it's setup but we'll have to see what does everyone else think

I agree! Love Epsom salt!! Congrats in passing!! Nice job on the cardio! Lol Sounds "fun"

Thanks Kat I hope one of these days I won't worry about it so much cause when we go out on a new job I have to test every time in most cases
