ma70's Myokem Magnitropin Log.

Hey ma70 I can't remember if I read it or if you even mentioned it but, are you doing the 6 on 1 off with MAGNITROPIN or are you dosing daily (7 days a week)

Hey ma70 I can't remember if I read it or if you even mentioned it but, are you doing the 6 on 1 off with MAGNITROPIN or are you dosing daily (7 days a week)

I am doing it daily (3 caps pre, 3 caps with a bigger meal post workout). I didn't know there was a 6 on 1 off protocol.

That's the suggested protocol on the bottle. I'm dosing daily as well

Daily here too. I hate those 1 off day protocols. Don't understand them as almost all products have cumulative effects.

Day 21:

Military Press:
Bar x5
65 lbs x4
85 lbs x3
95 lbs x2
115 lbs x2
120 lbs x1
125 lbs x2

Longer breaks now (3-5 minute breaks)

130 lbs x2
135 lbx x2
140 lbs x2
145 lbs x1 --> Long grind out. At this weight though, this is huge for me

Dumbbell Seated Press:
40 lbs x 10
40 lbs x 10
35 lbs x 10
35 lbs x 10
35 lbs x 10

Thumbless Grip Face Pulls:
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15

I think Magnitropin's endurance effects are coming into play here. Normally after all the heavy presses I'd probably just call it quits and finish up. Another PR at this weight is awesome. I'd still like to point out that the old PR's I beat were 2-3 months ago at a heavier weight, so it could be a mix of time training/supplemental help, but I'm still happy.

PRs are PRs brother good job!

How are the pumps treating you? Or any other effects you're noticing? Curious to hear

Oh, well I stopped posting about the pumps and vascularity cause they were pretty much every workout so I was assuming everyone knew about them already, haha. They are still there. I sweat a lot more too, but not sure if I can attribute it to any ingredients or if it's just me working harder and pushing more weight/volume. I can definitely breathe easier (as I've said a bunch) and definitely have more overall muscular endurance. Being at around 198 right now I am stronger than I was at a heavier weight months ago so I sort of like that too. My body composition seems to be slightly improved even though I've been lean bulking/dirty bulking (some days the hunger was too much for me. Need more discipline) and hopefully the the picture shows this. I wish I took a picture of my back at the beginning because my back is looking a bit bigger/defined now. Abdominal definition seems to be the same/slightly better, etc. I plan on summing up everything in a big final review in the next 2-3 days when I run out

sick brother, was just curious. i cant wait to hop on it myself after the olympia

It's a great supplement for bulking, that's for sure. I don't know how it effects others, but it made me a ravenous beast, haha (and I get "hangry", aka angry when I'm hungry). I'm really happy about the PRs cause usually weight is the #1 factor for my bench and military press performance. They seem to zig zag up and down depending on my weight. Then again, 2-3 months is some decent time to get stronger overall, but hey....I haven't practiced super high intensity lifts in awhile.

The hunger aspect has recently kicked in for me. So has some muscle spasms, no cramps, just fluttering of the muscles. Topical magnesium has helped .. /rant

Do you take a pre workout? Or is it just the MAGNITROPIN that's giving you the vascularity?

I only take Scivation Xtend and Magnitropin pre-workout. Not sure if you can call it a pre-workout though (it's just BCAAs). Also, I'd like to throw it out there that I haven't felt cramps since Day 1 so it may have been an off day.

I haven't had any cramping issues and I've had a few days after traveling where I was pretty dehydrated so I'd say it was prob just a coincidence.

I'd say so, like I said I've just had fluttering of muscles no cramps.

Aminos pre workout deff isn't a pre workout lol smart choice if you haven't eaten tho.

Vascularity from a supplement is instant gratification for me lol see veins and I'm like "hell ya" this supp is dooooope haha

Yeah I don't consider aminos a pre-workout, but some may think so (not sure why....). I train fasted at like 4-5AM in the morning. I'd love to eat but I just have absolutely no appetite that early in the morning.

But yeah I like the vascularity. Makes me feel better about myself for some reason...

Day 22:

Deadlift:
135 x5
185 x4
205 x3
245 x2
275 x2
290 x1
305 x2 --> Double Overhand

5 Minute Breaks after that set. I need more time to recover with Deadlift when I try to max out, although I'm sure it's like that for most people.

315 x2 --> Mixed Grip
335 x2 --> Mixed Grip
355 x2 --> Mixed Grip, this is when I started having trouble getting the weight off of the floor
360 x1 --> Mixed Grip. After the first I knew I wasn't getting this off of the floor.

Anyways, a good PR. I wish I was better off of the floor so I'm going to start figuring out how to do that. (Google time!). I stopped the workout after that because the last set completely took it out of me. Nothing like being completely red after a set/rep and feeling like you'll faint at lockout, haha.

nice PR man!

are you initially taking the "tension" out of the bar before you start your pull? i used to just pull and without pulling a little before i would have trouble with the initial lift off

Yeah, I take the tension off of the bar before I do. I'm starting to think it's a confidence issue. I don't use a belt so I think I get a little "shy" about going full blown max out.

ah okay. nothing wrong with using a belt imo.

for me, i'd rather use a belt, and ensure my safety and still get stronger, but that's just me. everyone has their own opinion

Yeah, I've considered getting a belt too. Stuff gets really shady at higher weights and I'd rather focus on great technique then worry about snap city.

strongly, strongly agree with this lol

if i can lift heavy, feel great, continue to grow and progress and NOT herniate a disc, i'm all for it lol

Well that's why I've been doing submaximal heavy doubles. Even though I haven't deadlifted over 315 in 2-3 months, I still managed strength gains anyway since I've been practicing good form with some decent weight instead of just being sloppy. But yeah I might just get a belt anyway...

nice man, the worst is breaking it in, **** hurts a tad

Hell ya, stiff as that deal! When it's broke in tho, it fits like a glove
Saddle soap and a rubber mallet will speed up the break in time.

Day 23:

Rest. Going to try to figure out where my Squat is sitting at tomorrow, then the log is going to be finished.

Today is the last day! I'll weigh myself in tomorrow and take pics. I think one of the best things to note (that may or may not show in the pictures) is that my legs have grown slightly bigger (jeans fit tighter), my back has gotten bigger/defined (depends on how you look at it, unfortunately I didn't take pics initially of my back) and I haven't gained too much fat considering I've been eating anywhere from a 400-700 calorie surplus.

Day 24:

Lying Leg Curls:
2 stacks, 1x15
2 stacks, 1x15
4 stacks, 1x15
4 stacks, 1x12
4 stacks, 1x9
4 stacks, 1x6

Squats:
135 lbs x5
185 lbs x5
225 lbs x5
275 lbs x5
265 lbs x5
255 lbs x5
255 lbs x5
255 lbs x5

Stiff Legged Deadlifts:
95 lbs x 15
95 lbs x 15
95 lbs x 15

Post Workout Thoughts:
No sprinting today because it was raining outside. Also, wasn't feeling in the zone today so I didn't try to max out on Squats. Volume was pretty good as usual though. Overall a good way to end the log.

nice job man! thanks for logging!

love it when those jeans get tight around the quads and feel the same on the waist

Yeah. It's actually tight around the quads and loose around the waist. Guess I need to get some baggier jeans.

Haha gotta love that feeling... I always have to buy jeans a couple waist sizes too big or my legs wont fit.

I can only wear carpenter type jeans cause they have bigger legs but can still fit my waist. Forget about any kind of slacks, looks like leggings they are so tight.

I'm just glad that even on a massive surplus, I managed to keep my slight top two ab definition.

My express jeans are skin tight on me now....RIP! They will be missed (unless I just get smaller)

Dress pants always get cinched at the waist... I have to go 3" over my waist size and cant put anything in my pockets ha. Had to get two belt clips for my phones.

Everything relaxed fit. I used to love boot cut, not anymore. And don't even get me started on skinny jeans... Even if I wanted to wear them my calves wont even fit in the thighs of those freakish things.

pants drama!

levis still have a wider leg which is nice but all my other jeans have waved bye-bye

dress slacks stick with traditional stay away from flat front, low cut, slim fit or any of the new designs for sure. i wear claborn or kenneth cole dress slacks and i love them!!

I buy almost all of my pants at discount stores like Marshalls/TJ Max/Gabriel Bros/Etc so I can buy them cheap and then when I grow out of them I dont feel bad ha. Haven't paid more then like $10 for jeans in years.

That's awesome the marshall's up here only has new fashion and skinny jeans
i will go to the levi's outlet and lucky brand during sales but thats it

Marshalls is ok, but if you have a gabriel bro's that's the best. My current fav jeans were $3 and soft as all hell from day 1. Love that place.

This thread has become much more resourceful for those who are bulking on Magnitropin, haha.

Nice log man, would you say the intensity of the cramps would be something worth dealing with (supplementing for) or it is there but doesn't really need a 3rd thought. Im sure some days you gave it a 2nd thought lol

Honestly, the cramping was no longer a problem after the first workout. I just hydrated more, but no Taurine or anything required.

Hmmm ok, I have a friend using Magnitropin now and he does heavy landscaping work and literally drinks water every chance he gets but the cramping beats em up sometimes but I will keep a lookout to see how it treats others as well.

I had no issues with cramping either. Thirst, yes but never cramps.

I've had some cramping from taking it. I dose Taurine twice a day now(5 grams each) and haven't a problem since. I'm almost on week 3.

Final pic/weigh in is up. I'm 199 lbs right now up from 193. Starting this log, I was on a very low carb diet (under 100 carbs) so I can accustom the weight gain to a mix of water weight/all that other good stuff from the extra carbs, but also some from the supplement. I ate on a constant 400-700 calorie surplus this log, and on some days, it was so brutal I didn't even count and in the final picture, I didn't gain that much fat if at all. (I couldn't get the angle and stuff that I got on the first picture but I can generally tell that my mid section is the same). What I should add is that my back is looking more defined/bigger and my legs gained size (my jeans are overall tighter around my legs). I also nailed out many various PRs that I'm proud of. These are the results that I've noticed on my short 24 day run and most anecdotal feedback shows that it's ingredients Cistanche/Epicatechin shine in the later weeks.

Some things I noticed during the course of time:
- Possible strength increase (depends how you perceive strength. I was constantly able to increase weights/reps on my exercises but since I've haven't maximally lifted until the end of the log, it's hard to tell)
- Increased muscular endurance (as seen by my constant assistance exercises increasing)
- Better cardiovascular endurance (easier breathing in between sets and easier to jog/sprint)
- Reduced perception of fatigue (I just felt like I could push through my workouts even though they were lengthy sometimes)
- Hunger
- Vascularity/pumps (especially when working out)
- Positive body composition effects (I ate on a massive surplus and I barely gained fat IMO)
- Libido boost
- Oily skin (maybe this was just me, but I'm acne prone)
- Increased sweating (but maybe this is due to extra volume/shorter rest, etc)

Other things I noticed that went away:
- Cramping (after hydrating more after the first workout, I never had this again. No Taurine required)
- Hunger (yes, I've listed this twice. Some days the hunger was manageable. Some days the hunger was ridiculous. I am not sure if it's the timing of taking it that effects this)

Thanks to Myokem for allowing me to log this! It's a great product for bulking and it'll definitely force you to eat. You definitely shouldn't be afraid to eat on this though because I feel it's body composition effects help mitigate the fat gain. I'd run this for a second bottle if I didn't have to mind my food budget. The ergogenic effects were great though and definitely will help you push past plateaus.

Nice layout of the final review. Thanks again ma70 for the detail and updated log.

You can see the subtle growth in your second picture, good job bro.

Yeah man. I wish I took pictures of my legs/back cause I think those grew more than my frontside. My arms look more defined too. I'm pretty pleased with the results after a short 3 week run.
