Well, was supossed to hit 300 from the slingshot and 315 from a 2-Board. Right rotator cuff caught in the hole so I didn't want to risk pressing it. Pain free now, even during the presses.
 
Went good. I think not being able to grip the bar tight with my right hand caused some looseness in my scap.

Ah yea that can definitely do it.

Well since the first one went good then I'd just be optimistic you only have to throw it together to bench a few lifts. Awesome you got a good one in before the pain.
 
Tomorrow is supossed to be Opener x2 singles, Second x1, and Third x1 from reverse light bands.

All that weight...

From afar, it's definitely borderline. One judge may white light you and another red light. If you zoom in really close you'll see you're missing it by AT MOST an inch. It's hard to tell with your shorts.

Either way, that is a helluva squat. Come meet time no doubt you'll smoke it.

So...605 was walked out, took too narrow of a stance, and my knee wraps slipped. 645 I lost my groove on the wraps. 675 was eh. I'm shallow. I'm nowhere near comfortable in these wraps. Next week will be the same thing. My confidence is back up. 675 felt good and stable.
 
Titan Titanium's. 10x tighter than the grippers. Maybe my second or third time wearing them in 12 weeks.

Maybe they need to break in. I don't have a lot of faith in grippers, they're so thin.
 
looked strong man, especially for the messup on 605. 645/675 looked real good though man. 675 was parallel, imo.

I'm ****ing drained. I'm going to **** up a bigass pizza.

I fixed my bar position. I noticed I squat better with the SSB so I inched the bar up. Had been going too low before.
 
I find a higher low bar squat to be more comfortable, too.

I agree on 675 being parallel. I think some judges would give it...but I know you'd rather have a sure thing, of course. You have got a beastly squat, Sean.

Your new wraps more for stopping or rebound? Just curious
 
If you want an EVIL wrap, then get some Overkill knee wraps. They're almost like a stretchy canvas wrap and hurt so damn good.
 
My Titaniums took a bit to break in. You see now though I'm real comfortable with using them. Definitely took until around the 4th use before I liked them and it's been better each use since.
 
I didn't like Titaniums, too stiff.

Side note: I can close my little finger enough pain free to grasp a bar so I'm looking to deadlift with straps tomorrow hopefully.

We have these adjustable stands that you can use as safety's for the bench or monolift. I'm thinking I can dangle short bands from them and run the barbell through the stands so I can reverse-band pull my 3rd attempt. It'll be interesting.
 
I buddy tape it all day/night. SSB I leave it buddy taped. Anything else, I tape just the finger itself. Any side to side movement hurts and gripping it tight as possible hurts. The tape helps with the side to side obviously. Straps should be okay with it. It's considerably better so that's a plus.
 
Reverse band from inside the power rack if the short bands don't work? I'd imagine with your deadlift stroke being pretty short, short bands would lend themselves to it better.
