ma70's Myokem Magnitropin Log.

Birthday Macros:
Protein- all
Carbs- all
Fat- all
Gains- had

Happy bday bro!

Kill it man! Hope your enjoying your Bday man!

Didn't drink too much last night but damn, I didn't even bother counting my macros. I definitely hit a total of around 5000-6000 calories that day though. It's sort of a nice break from holding back from the hunger though. Anyways, diet will be back on point and I'm heading to the gym soon to make use of those carbs I slammed down last night.

Dats a whole lotta calories O_o

Pump should be nice today!

Well alcohol sort of lowers my judgment/control abilities....so I was on the "see-food diet". I saw food...and I ate it. LOL. I really did limit my alcohol intake though, because I'm doing a sponsored log. I normally go nuts on my birthday.

Day 12:

Military Press:
Bar x5
65 lbs x4
85 lbs x3
95 lbs x2
115 lbs x2
120 lbs x1
125 lbs x2
125 lbs x2
125 lbs x2
125 lbs x2 --> Easy reps. I can't even call these heavy doubles anymore.

Dumbbell Seated Press:
40 lbs x 10
40 lbs x 10
40 lbs x 10
40 lbs x 10

35 lbs x 10

Dumbbell Seated Lateral Raise:
10 lbs x 10
10 lbs x 10
10 lbs x 10
10 lbs x 10
10 lbs x 10

Thumbless Grip Face Pulls:
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15

Post Workout Thoughts:
Well I went nuts last night on calories and carbs so I expected to feel invincible this workout, and I was more motivated because well....I totally blew my macro control away. Anyways, the heavy doubles don't feel like heavy doubles anymore (they've become pretty easy). As you can see in bold, a 5 lb jump in DB Presses is a pretty big jump for me normally but today I could do most of my sets with the additional weight. Pumps were crazy as expected (thanks to the binge last night). Great endurance to hammer out sets with not so much rest in between. My shoulders are normally my weak point so to be able to see results like this make me feel pretty happy.

Some other misc supplement thoughts:
- confidence is up, not sure why. could be increase in test. it's not like I'm snapping or going crazy on anyone. I just feel slightly more aggressive in the gym, but TBH I'm still pretty young so who knows.
- slightly more oily skin/acne, could be increase in test
- this probably has good effects on body comp, because I've been lean bulking (and on some days, dirty bulking) and I feel just as "lean" as I was before
- endurance/sweating is up
- strength seems to be up (although this could just be related to the increased endurance)
- breathing is better (for cardio or just fast sets)
- hunger is up (and I'm normally a very hungry person to begin with), so this supplement is perfect for bulkers that have appetite issues

Today's macros:
3100 calories
160g Protein
110g Fat
Fill rest with carbs

My fats are usually higher these days because those are the most satiating things I can find so I don't eat myself into oblivion.

Another good workout today. Strength is definitely on the rise because the heavy doubles I am doing don't really feel like heavy doubles anymore.

Day 13:

Deadlift:
135 x5
185 x4
205 x3
245 x2
275 x2
290 x1
305 x2 --> Double Overhand
305 x2 --> Double Overhand
305 x2 --> Mixed Grip
305 x2 --> Mixed Grip

Romanian Deadlift: (All double overhand grip)
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8

Dumbbell Carries:
50 lbs, 5 laps

Post Workout Thoughts:
Overall strength/grip strength has definitely improved. The heavy doubles don't feel very taxing and I am able to do more heavy doubles with a double overhand grip, when my grip normally fails. I also upped the weight on the dumbbell carries and definitely noticed an increase in grip endurance/strength. Another good workout. I really think Magnitropin is kicking in at this point, which is nice.

Yeah buddy! What's your 1RM for Deads? Dunno if you mentioned it. If you did I apologize

My best 3RM 2 months ago was 325 lbs but it was only one set of 325 and honestly, I always felt like my form wasn't perfect (but that's normal for maximum attempt lifts I guess). Never did a 1RM (and probably never will just because I like training submaximally) but one can assume it would be slightly higher than 325. I lowered the training maxes on all of my main lifts this time around just so I could focus on form and feel like I was working out what I'm supposed to.

i see i see. was interested to see how the 1rm would change with magnitropin if you're already increasing your doubles.

for me when i see my doubles increase, i'll usually see a 1rm increase right around the corner

Usually the 3rd week of every month is when I go all out because I deload every 4th week. So I'm probably going to work up to a 2RM to see how much progress I've made.

Lol PRS easy and chit. I'm the same 6 weeks high intensity (drop/super sets, bands, tri sets, partials) then a 1 week deload and no intensity techniques

Did some searching in my various "records" and here are my PRs when I was 200-203 lbs 2-3 months ago:
Bench Press: 220 x 3
Pendlay Row: 185 x 3
Overhead Press: 140 x 4
Deadlift: 325 x 3
Squat: I prefer volume on these but I still base the weights on a % max. No recent record since I like doing these 5x5 style. 255 lbs 5x5 was my best.

These were all long grinded reps at what I truly felt was my maximum (except the Row. Those have to be quick or they just don't come off the floor)

I am now 197 (haven't weighed myself since last week, but I will weigh in again soon) but I started this log at 193. So we'll see what 2 RM's I can nail next week. I weigh less, have slightly less BF%, but also, I'm combining a busier life (with socializing/other things) and 13 mile obstacle course prep. I really think I can hit strong numbers though, so we'll see.

I usually do a 6 week cycle, but I'm doing 3 this time around because all of this extra running/cardio is wearing me down. I'm not used to it at all, but also...I might as well max out on Week 3 because the bottle only lasts 24 days and I might as well put it to the test on this short run. I'd probably get another bottle but I've been burning too much money on random supplements thanks to all the sales recently.

Heck yea! Push the envelope a bit man!

Yesterday's Macros:

I would take the day off today. You're gonna want to be fresh tomorrow!

Day 15:
Super Spartan Race Day! --> "Leg/Everything Day"

I'm heading out in a few hours.

I did it! I survived the Super Spartan Race! Holy crap though...it was NOT what I expected. I wish I incline walked/sprinted more instead of long distance running. My lower body is non existent right now. Not sure if I can even Bench Press tomorrow so I might just delay my workout routine by 1 day, cause DAMN I'm gonna feel it tomorrow.

Nice job man! I know how you feel. All those muddy ass hills are wicked. Run as hard as you want and you still end up slipping and barely moving ha.

Rest up, eat up, and get in bulk mode!

Good stuff dude!!! Glad you made it man

Whew. Feeling like death this morning. My lower body is basically non existent. Great substitute for a lower body workout, but I wonder how long it'll take for me to recover. I'll try to see if I can muster up a good workout tomorrow. Gonna go for PRs all over the place this week so I need to make sure I'm 100%. Right now my back/hands are all cut up too, so I don't know of squeezing a barbell is a good idea yet.

Also, I'll weigh in tomorrow. Today marks day 16.

Day 17:

One last rest day. The cuts on my hands need to heal up before I'm ready to go HAM.

Weigh In: 198 lbs

5lb gain considering the cardio training is pretty legit! Great work!

5lb gain considering the cardio training is pretty legit! Great work!

Well I was relatively low carb before this little run, so it could easily be a mix of increased glycogen retention/muscle mass/fat, but my body comp looks fine to me. After the log is over I'll be posting up pics so you guys can determine if I turned into a lard ass or not, but my lifts are feeling good.

Coincidentally enough, I have not taken my 2nd Magnitropin dosage yet and I am going to now. I am going to head to the gym, because oddly enough, my energy levels are pretty high even after a long day of work. Gonna aim for the stars!

Day 17:

Bench Press:
Bar x5
115 x4
135 x3
155 x2
175 x2
190 x1
205 x2

From this point on, I took long breaks (3-5 minutes)

210 x2
215 x2
220 x2
225 x2
230 x1 -->This was NOT going to be a double. Grinded this one out a bit.

After that, I pretty much finished up. At around 5 lbs less than I was last time I managed a 230 x 1. It's not a 2 or 3 RM but I find that my Bench/Military Press are severely hurt when I am less weight. Pretty happy with the result considering I was working out right now when I am normally not used to working out. I cut the workout here because I had some weird tingling sensation in my left elbow, as if blood was in it but not leaving. Not sure if it could be due to the abrasions/bruises, but still, happy with the result.

Day 19:

Pendlay Rows:
95 x4
115 x3
135 x2
155 x2
165 x1
175 x2

3 Minute breaks in between the following sets (as opposed to the 2 minute breaks I take between these):
185 x2
190 x2
195 x2
200 x2
205 x2 --> At this point, breaking it off the floor was hard so I just stopped here

Dumbbell Rows:
50 lbs x 10
50 lbs x 10
50 lbs x 10
50 lbs x 10
50 lbs x 10

Lat Pulldown Machine:
10 stacks x 10
10 stacks x 10
10 stacks x 10
10 stacks x 10
10 stacks x 10

Good workout and solid PR's overall. I attribute this HUGE PR boost to working really hard to make my upper back stronger over the months, as well as some help from Magnitropin. Pretty happy about that. I wish I took pictures of my back at the beginning of the log, but my back is definitely looking a lot better these days.

Pr's are looking solid in here. I find it hard to take breaks that long between sets even though I know my muscles need it. I just never feel tired ha.

Agreed. The waits feel like forever but when I get off this supplement I have a feeling I'm going to need them again.

Congrats on the PR's. Is 2 minutes a pretty standard rest between sets for you?

I usually take 2-3 minutes between any heavy sets. For assistance stuff, it really just depends. Usually between 1-2 minutes. I don't like sitting around too long because I feel it takes me out of "the zone".

I know that feeling! Its hard to immerse oneself and once lost hell I will go do something stupid lol. Congrats on the PRs though man

Day 20:

Rest. I'm taking a day break between all of these just to let myself really be 100%. I only have a few more doses until the bottle runs out (it's got 24).
