Hematologist?

My endocrinologist has lowered my T shot injection. Said now he's sending me to a hematologist. Has Anyone Else experienced there endocrinologist moving in this direction? If so how has it helped?

Why is he referring you to a hematologist? Do you have high hemocrit values?

I am the opposite, got sent to a hematologist, who is now referring me to an endo,

Hematologist is used when ur blood becomes to thick and it wont lower, even with donations etc...

Might have polycythemia vera? How does ur blood work look?

How much has your endo lowered your shot? Have you donated blood at all? Are you staying PROPERLY hydrated? Hydration plays a huge role in blood thickness. So does donating blood.

I have not experienced that, but it would really depend on how high you are and what has been done to lower it already.

How much were you taking and what was it lowered to? Also, where do you live? Those of us that live in higher elevations have naturally higher values.

I was on 2ML 200mg injections. A total of 400mgT . every 2weeks. Now I'm on 3/4 ml every two weeks. My last blood test said my Free test is 207 (low) and will not go up! I have donated blood. Which has helped , but it's still to high to go up... My endocrinologist said I am the opposite of bulimic. So I guess that's why he is sending me to a blood specialist. It was never high before I started testosterone injection. I Guess all I can do is pray that the blood doctor will help me so I can get back on a higher testosterone level so I can feel better!

I'm not sure I'm understanding you. You were injecting 400mgs every two weeks? If that's the case that's a lot of T. I bet if you injected at minimum 100 mgs a week you would see an improvement in your hematocrit level. Injecting 400 mgs of T is a lot of T. You also need to get of that every two week protocol. That's OLD medicine and not good for you at all.

Bulimic? Do mean anemic?
