One thing I've noticed is that other lifters often tell me how their strength is extremely variable. Personally, I don't believe that at all. I've been doing the 5/3/1 program for over 2 years, so I've got a pretty good idea where my strength is at any given time and I hit those targets reliably, 4 days a week. In my opinion, that "variability" I always hear about is 90% psychological. I think if you get reasonably enough sleep, eat enough food, more or less, and don't have any *major* stress, there's no reason your strength shouldn't be at pretty much the same level it was at yesterday.
