My battle buddies back from fort benning when we were at boot camp. We hated yet loved each other. It was a long 4 months stuck in a barrack. Now we are all scattered though out the US and some overseas already. And I'm soon to follow my brothers who are overseas next month. They make me pumped up because we all graduated Fort Benning, we all became infantryman, there was a lot of blood and sweat left in fort benning from each one of us. We had to literally carry each other on our backs at times because it was so intense. They get me pumped to make me be a better man. I will never forget the one time I failed while over there, I had to fireman carry one of my buddies who was in full battle gear plus his weapon.. I would squat down and he would lay across my shoulder but I was not able to get up, we tried him jumping on my shoulder but that made us go crashing down. It was pathetic and I have YET to let that go, its been 6 months and I been working out heavier than ever with that thought in the back of my head 'what if that was in combat? what if he got shot and it was only me there to save him and I wasn't able to fireman carry him?' I have finally gotten my squat up, matter of fact today I hit a pr on my squats, which was 20 pounds over what my battle buddy back in basic used to weigh with all his gear on. I got 8 reps on it. I still got 4 weeks before I ship out and I plan to break my squat PR 4 more times before I leave, I want to make sure I'm able to fireman carry my brothers if god forbid something was to happen. I told him If I ever saw him again the first thing I would do was fireman carry him.

Having my son introduced to the world of bodybuilding early

I never really thought about this too much until recently when my girlfriends dad had a battle with cancer and lost. Being able to have the opportunity to do the things I want like being able to lift weights gets me pumped now. Watching someone fight for their life really makes a person see and understand things differently. Some may not understand what I'm saying or how that gets me pumped, but it's a different kind of pump I guess. Makes a person not complain about certain things and makes them want to push for things.

Little different but nothing gets me more pumped than an empty fresh sheet of ice

Every time I hear this intro music I get pumped up. Goosebumbs and all, makes me feel like I could go score a triple double.. Best part is around 1:07 From North CAROLINA at gaurd 6-6 Michael Jordan.. Man I feel real lucky getting to grow up a Bulls fan during arguably the best decade in basketball.

EDIT: Crap has to be a picture, The pic doesn't do as much justice as the video, but I'm still pumped thinking about it lol.

Rocky. Any of the training scenes make me want to get off the couch, pull up a tree, throw it on my back and go for a run.

Especially love the snow training in Russia in Rocky IV.

This picture gets me pumped. Taken about 2 years ago, I weighed 175lbs and didn't have much tone at all. I was 19, kicked out of my house and moving between my girlfriends parents and grandmothers houses, with our 1 year old daughter, while my girlfriend cheated on me. We moved into our own place, a rented home, where I worked 60 hours a week while she finished up her senior year of high school and didn't work, and also had no license so I was the taxi service. I was depressed, and after a bit we broke up and I started partying every night, drinking 3/4 to an entire 5th most nights a week. This picture embodies the most difficult time of my life; fighting depression, being unhealthy, losing touch with my daughters mother, losing my family, my friends, and essentially becoming a different person.

Since I started lifting in early 2012, literally everything turned around. I now weight 204 at about 10% bf, I moved out of my parents house which I had returned to, and in with a girl I love deeply about 3 months ago, and she's about to get her bachelors degree in nursing. I have 50% legal custody of my daughter (which as a father is NOT easy to obtain), and I'm an emt firefighter, who still has some classes to finish to get a job.
I also work as a guitar instructor making 25$ an hour doing something I absolutely love.

Long story short, this picture is everything I was, and everything I'm not now, so this is what pumps me up, this is the physique and lifestyle I move away from with every new day at the gym!

//emotional rant :P

So forgive the bad picture but I had to crop it. I have more on my old computer I will try and dig up eventually. Invalid Link Removed This is my classroom. I completed my first full year teaching High School Social Studies. I completed the second half of the 2012/13 school year and it was rough. My first year in a lower income school in Southern California. I had some kids that really tested me and was questioning my career choice. This school year changed my outlook completely. I had a much better experience starting out the school year with my kids. I grew to know them much deeper than the previous 1/2 year. Since I am younger I wanted them to know I mean business but I learned I can do that and still be nice and effective. The entire school is title 1 (low income) and over 90% receive free or reduced lunch. We also have the largest number of group home students in all of California. Sooooo basically I am pumped that I can have a positive impact on these kids no matter what their background; I can teach them not only about history, but life and learning skills as well. May sound cheesy but this year really opened my eyes and I am grateful I became a teacher.

If his current stack is "ALL OF IT BRAH". Give it to this guy right now. He's going to die and should enjoy the gains while he can.

But seriously, pretty impressive stash there.

I remember my first year as a HS social studies teacher. The kids make it a challenge but also provide the reward. I spent 9 years in the classroom full time before moving into administration. There is always part of me that misses the classroom.

It's a great career...there truly is nothing like it.

Lots of teachers in here. I spent 4 years at a private school. Two of those years in the middle school as a PE teacher. Fun times. Played either soccer, football, baseball, or ultimate everyday with the kids! Lol

Lol, I'll toss my hat in the teacher's ring. I taught Carpentry/Masonry at a technical school in NNY for 1 year. I got out because the salary was simply not enough to live on.
