I know this is going to be a weird question....

OK, so I am on my pct right now. Taking both Clomid and Nolva for SERM.

I usually make my own hamburgers from ground beef, but I bought these angus boxed burgers that were on sale half off. I noticed to my horror lol that there is soy protein in them. Is this something I should completely avoid and could be strong enough to cause estrogen problems? If it normally would be, would the SERMs protect me from that? Or should I just avoid eating them?

thanks

bump. I actually wondered the same thing because I usually snack on beef jerky and I didn't realize there's soy in it. Not sure how much it affects estrogen but I'm interested to find out! I love this forum.. lol

I read somewhere that if you mix the beef with salvo and apply it topically you can avoid boobies. I wouldn't worry about it but I also know nothing about this topic. I would imagine that in moderation it wouldn't hurt. You could always hang out in the Isle at grocery store and watch who grabs the burgers and scan for puff titties.

I'll be doing that tonight.

Yon would need to eat a lot of soy products consistently for a long time to have any effect if any on your estrogen levels

I've eaten soy multiple times a day for 3yrs straight and gained just fined. Actually was the strongest and in the best shape of my life and had the libido of a pornstar.

soy is good for you IMO. The hype is over done.... dont make your diet 100% soy, but i would go out of my way to make 5-10% protein be from soya, there is alot of good to it also... Id worry more about meat consumption IMO

It was my understanding that soy didn't "raise" estrogen levels but rather contained chemicals that mimicked estrogen. Don't know how true this is, or which of estrogen's properties it is similar too

Maybe someone who knows the deal can enlighten us

Thanks guys. I normally wouldn't worry about a little bit, but wasn't sure if being in PCT would make it an issue, as this is my first cycle.
