TGR's Cheetos Chraining

Killed this workout! Nice job Thomas!

Thanks guys. I was pleased with today's WO, perfect amount of time to get it done too.

Wow! Awesome leg workout!!!! Crazy squat #'s too!!

Very awesome leg session!

At the eye docs. Hopefully they can give me an idea of what is making my eyes so sensitive to light and the itchiness.

Good luck! I won't wear mine. Even with a light prescription, I can't handle it!

I don't mind mine, but I love seeing so clearly now.

Sometimes my eyes are so sensitive to light that I have to pull over because it's all I can do to keep my eyes open.

Great leg workout man!

Thanks brother!

Keep us posted! I hope it's just allergies! :)

She said my eyes are really inflamed and this is the worst allergy season here in years. Gave me a sample prescription of eye drops to see if this brand helps.

Whew.

Yay! Good news!!! I'm sure you'll get relief very soon!

Legs are slowly feeling sore.

Very much looking forward to chest and shoulders tomorrow. I have a scooter that I keep trying to tell myself that I should ride it to the gym, and I tried this morning, but a block down the road I just felt tiny and vulnerable. I don't even like driving my wife's car because it's so small.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. I'd like to, because it'll probably save me a tank of gas a month.

DOMS wonderful DOMS! Haha heck yeah drive the scooter!! Nothing wrong with saving a little gas!

Fuk it just run to the gym:) glad to hear it's nothing bad with the peepers man(I have to give Kenpo credit for the peepers:)

Scooters are like getting with a big girl. It gets you where you need to go, & it can be a fairly enjoyable experience if you embrace it - but you don't want your friends to catch you riding it ;)

Ask me how I know this....

There's a guy at work that used to have really thick glasses before he got eye surgery, so everyone calls him peepers, even now.

Those are great squat numbers for how little rest you're taking, JR - bet they'd be even higher if you bumped to 2.5 min rests for the heaviest sets.

Lmao!!! That brought tears to my eyes!
Too funny.....
:)

I'm not going to lie, I don't feel very manly on that thing. But, I'm currently burning >25 gal/week in my truck. Taking about 16 miles or so off a day would help some.

Lol, I can't complain, it costs me $60 to fill my tank and it lasts me a month, ha ha...
Oh I drive a VW beetle....
;)

Very nice! I've got to add those delt destroyers into my shoulder day. You must have been slamming down the water with the sweat of this workout!

I definitely got sweaty there at the end. Those destroyers were tough. I used to aim for 20-30 and then 10-15 but with a wider initial swing. This way though was brutal.

Awesome job on chest and shoulders!! I like how you pair them together!!...Oh, and I really like the Extra "wife" grip bench press!! ;-p

Ha! I missed that...

Thanks! John Meadows gets all the credit though!

Get to go home and have a talk with kiddo tonight. He asked some unsavory questions this week and this morning.

Apparently, he's being told lies to make him dislike his mother. I dunno if they thought he was going to keep them secret or if they assume that he'll still believe them after being told the truth.

Anyway, it's pathetic to try and bring a 12 year old into this nonsense.

Talk went well.

So looking forward to back day tomorrow. I haven't looked ahead, but I've been at maintenance the last two days so I should see an increase in weights tomorrow over last week.

WIsh the talks in my house would go well.. :(

They vary here. This one was better than expected, but I know I was lied to.

Craziness, these days.

What're you dealing with?

They usually go well with my 6 yr old but it's more screaming with the 13 yr old! Lol

Glad yours went well!

Hopefully you and your husband are more so on the same page. My wife and I are, but my stepsons biological father isn't... It's good for a child to see their parents, whether together or separate, with similar moral and character standards.

If you're on the worship team though I know there are some strong positive values there!

Thank you! We are very blessed with an amazing relationship! We have been through a lot together!

I agree 100%- regardless of the situation you should always try to maintain certain standards especially when it comes to the kids! :( I hate that you're having difficulties with the step dad! It breaks my heart to see kids go through that and the parents like you , who are trying their very best!!

Well, I'm the step dad. But I've been the one raising him most of the time since he's been 5.

I do not. I do have another older step child that is too old to be considered a step child, if that makes sense. He was 16 when I met his mother; 22 now.

I'll leave it at that...

Damn nice volume bud. Getting that strength up! Keep putting that work in here man.

Thanks AT! Still way behind your presses...
