dmz/trest cycle - false start

Ok, was all pumped about starting my dmz/trest cycle. Started this past Sunday, and was planning to run it like this:

dmz 30/30/30/30
trest 50/50/50/50
erase 0/3/3/3

Well, the first day I felt fine, but couldn't sleep AT ALL that night, and the insomnia carried over the second night too. As luck would have it, some very stressful work situations came about after the second day, and my anxiety levels were through the roof. So I was tired as fck, and my anxiety was running rampant. Not a good start! And I was losing my edge at work. I wanted to figure out if it was the dmz or trest that got my anxiety running so high, so I backed off the trest the third day and felt a little better. Given my work stress and knowing I needed to get some sleep, I aborted the cycle after the 4th day, and plan to try again after this situation at work dies down.

It really feels like the trest is causing the insomnia/anxiety, as I only took the dmz the 4th day and felt better. It really surprises me tho, since all the reviews are so positive on trest. My mistake here is that I tried stacking two compounds I've never taken before. When I restart this cycle, I'm going to only take the trest to begin with to assess tolerance. I'll then add in the dmz if things are going well. Just not sure if it's one or the other, or the combination of the two. I'm hoping my body will adjust if I can get through the first week. I just have to be especially astute at work and get through this current situation before pulling the trigger again.

Looking for some feedback on whether anyone else has experienced mad anxiety on trest. Would starting the erase from the get-go possibly help with the anxiety? Guess I'll just have to try.

This will be by far the strongest cycle I've ever run, and I can definitely tell that these compounds have a kick. Hopefully I can get through it. If not, I'll just stick with my go-to hdrol/epi/alphabulk cycles.

I'd just pop a Benadryl or two. I didn't notice any anxiety on trest and I ran 150 mg a day with 75 mg of dmz and other stuff. Did you split up the doses of trest btw? Was it olympus?

It's Celtic Labs, so only 10mg/cap. I was trying to space them out around 2 hours apart, and avoid taking them later in the day. I'm about 70% sure its the trest, but not sure why I would respond this way to something that should make me feel better. Maybe I'm just hyper-sensitive to trest? Hoping my body will adjust after the first week...

I'd pop a few earlier in the AM and take 2-3 preworkout.

Phenibut should get you knocked out

Yeah, already got the phenibut thing going. But this insomnia was really intense, and I'm not sure anything would've worked those first couple of nights - racing thoughts, just a constant buzzing in the head feeling.

Have you tried Antaeus Labs Oneiromancer that stuff stacked with phenibut ... give that a try.

2 pills oneiromancer 2 pills phenibut take 45 minutes before bed , should do the trick man

Looks interesting. When my insomnia gets out of control, I usually end up resorting to benzos to calm my brain down. OTC sleep aids work ok when it's normal everyday stress that's keeping me awake (phenibut, 5htp, etc), but hormone-driven insomnia is a different beast altogether, at least for me. I just try not to hit the benzos too early in a cycle, but may have to rely on them a little more this cycle.

Benzos aren't the best for sleep, especially Xanax so I hope you're not using that. Trazadone is a much better option than benzos or ambien. Some of the new meds, sonata/Lunesta are good but IMO trazadone is the best.

It's not xanax. I take clonazepam - much longer acting, and it really helps to calm my brain, which helps me relax more. I've tried trazadone before, but didn't realize there was a serotonin component to it and that it can take a week or two to really start working (at least that's what I seem to remember my doc telling me). So I stopped taking it. Have also tried low dose of seroquel, and still take it occasionally. It works pretty well, but sometimes leaves me feeling groggy the next day if I take it too late at night.

For what its worth,

100mcg Ipamorelin
.5 - 1mg of Ketotifen (way more potent than Benadryl)
Hot bath

Always does the trick for me.

Trazadone should work immediately. It's more effective for sleep than benzos in my experience. It's the go-to sleep med we use in an inpatient setting.

Hmm, maybe I'll see if my doctor can prescribe it again. It's been a long time since I've taken it, so I don't remember the dose or details about it. What is the typical effective dose for sleep?
