I'm meeting with my Doc this week to try and determine if adding HCG to my TRT protocol is a good idea. Currently he believes it's not and I fear he's not very knowledgable on the matter.

I'm researching a lot of info (including discussing this on other forums) to arm myself for my appointment.

Can anyone here help guide me?

What is your reasoning for wanting to add HCG to your protocol?

I simply want what's best for myself, I'm obsessed with working out staying young etc.

My inquiries are based on the fact that many people have hCG as part of their protocol.

I totally understand man! From what I have ready HCG is good for preventing testicular atrophy, keeping your natural T production going and used if you're wanting to have children. There's just as many that don't use HCG that have zero problems. Also using HCG increases chances of your E2 level being high and hard to dial in the ration of E2 and T. Me personally I don't use HCG. I'm 41 and fit. I've been on law enforcement for 18 years and am on my department's SWAT team. I have to stay in shape for SWAT. I love my protocol but I need to get my E2 down. I pin e3.5d and I feel great. Just a little low energy and some bloating from the E2. I know there are some on here that know more than I do about HCG but it can make it hard to dial in your protocol. Good luck man

I split my injections, inject every Monday morning and Thursday evening to keep my E levels down. So far so good.

how much and where? I'm looking for a new dosing schedule and possibly delts dont want excessive scar tissue in my ass

Have you tried your quads? I rotate between my quads and glutes. I haven't tried my delts yet. I pin on Wednesday morning and Saturday afternoon.

I rotate from right glute to left quad then right quad.

I've done my left glute twice and hit a vein each time which squirted pretty good, enough to cause me to abandon that side

I'm new on TRT and yet to have BW, doc has me on 200mg every 2 weeks which I've split on my own into 4 injections

I'm not limber enough to pin my left glute! That's smart of you to split your injections. How long have you been on TRT?

I've been on since Oct 2013. I started with androgel and liked it for about three weeks. I think I'm E2 sensitive and my levels went up. My urologist took me off of it for 6 week to recheck my levels. He put me on injections and my TT was 864. I said great and he said I should be at 350. I ran and never looked back. I'm going to a great "integrative medicine" group of doctors. Things have been wonderful. Just need to get my E2 down put they are working with me on it. If you're not happy with your dr start looking for another one now.
