Looking for a new whey protein. Any suggestions?

If you want muscle pharm combat go to Costco if there is one near you and you have a membership, it goes on a sale often for 5 pounds (not 4) for a little over $30. Good stuff for a good deal.

all they have (at my costco) is cookies n' cream, and it doesnt taste very good in my opinion. its like they give costco all the (great deals but) crappy flavours, i.e. amino 1 in fruit punch.

Vanilla Caramel. The Vanilla flavor is nice, but the caramel is non existent IMO. But when heated, it takes a chemical taste.

kool, thanx for the heads up, i'm using milk and cookies right now and vanilla caramel was nxt on my to try list.

For taste and mixability, I honestly have to give it to MuscleTech's new Platinum 100% Whey and Iso-Whey series.

For anytime use, I like IronMagLabs Complete Protein as their protein consists of 10 different sources.

For bulk, I used to use All the Whey, and American Pure Whey (until I heard bad rumors). Pure Bulk is pretty good, also Invalid Link Removed

I just got some on sale, it's actually pretty tasty. I don't bother cooking with it though. Got a great deal so I couldn't pass it up.

Yea, on its own, it isn't too bad. A very solid vanilla which is a hard flavor to get right. I just wish there was more caramel. I actually added a scoop to my oatmeal this morning and it was pretty good, had to add stevia extract though.

I got my PES Select Snickerdoodle in 2 days ago & first i want to say it tastes AMAZING! It mixes well in water, made a GREAT microwave Mug Cake as well as pancakes! However, for those that are lactose intolerant...while it has not given me cramps like regular whey does, it has made me VERY gassy...pure isolate doesn't. I know a people stated that it didn't bother them...so basically it's on an individual basis....As long as I don't get the cramps then I'm fine with being gassy....but the people around me hate it! LOL

I've been wanting to try UMP from Beverly.

I see they use Calcium caseinate. How big a drop off is this from micellar?

How do you make this Mug Cake!

How do you make this Mug Cake!

I got this from one of the recipe threads here on the forum...

I like one scoop protein powder
1/8 C almond milk
1 egg
1/4 TSP baking powder.

Pam the inside of A bowl, add wet ingredients, dry next, then mix and microwave from 75-105 seconds. Mines gtg after 90 seconds at school but at home 70-75 seconds

You get a nice "mug cake" and I'll top mine with Walden farms spread or peanut butter

check out GRENADE's neu HYDRA 6 50% whey/50% casein blend (i kno i kno thread title says 'whey', but THEY asked me to promote it so...)

Nice!

I've read multiple times that blends (whey, casein) are easier to absorb than pure whey so I always go with blends.

Now as much as I hate IForce as a company with all there BS marketing I gotta say there Protean is a great product. Tastes really good too and at a decent price.

im just curious what you mean by BS marketing.. are you referring to all of the reps or the actual marketing tactics of the advertising dept.?

I certainly don't see much we do that's any different from other companies.. do you also hate all of them?

obviously im glad you enjoy the protean, its up there on my list as well.

Maybe not BS but shady. I work in the supplement industry I have met many many reps and have yet to meet a Iforce rep that doesn't talk out of his ass and they are so strict with freebies. I always get free stuff from other companies, Usplabs, BPI, AEN, BSN, and a few others. I'm not just trying to come up on free stuff I simply tell reps that I will more likely sell there supplement if I can try it so I know it works and feel comfortable recommending it to my customers. BUT that's not the biggest reason why I don't like iforce. On These forums (which I love so much) I see so many shady marketing tactics. Like somebody (iforce reps) making a fake profile on here to ask for the best fat burner just for 3-4 iforce reps to jump in real quick and push dexaprine down every bodies throat. No diet advice or training advice just selling a product. All about sales. **** sales I love fitness because I know it can improve peoples lives not supplements just diet and exercise. I understand it's your job but don't forget why you got into this industry which is to spread the love of fitness.

With that being said I do love your protean and hemavol is a hell of a pump product, agmatine, citruline, norvaline, and glycerol all at great doses. So I'm not talking down about your products but it just seems you guys have your priorities all messed up.
