Cellucor Molten Chocolate Smore's Oatmeal

Recipe

Dry:

3/4 Cup of Oatmeal (60g) → I Used MyOatmeal Custom Blend
50g Molten Chocolate Cellucor Whey
8g SF/FF Pudding Mix
5g Cocoa Powder

1 Graham Cracker
15g Marshmallow’s

Directions


First add Oatmeal into a bowl and combine water in a 2:1 Ratio. So for 60g which is ¾ cup that would need 1.5 cups water. Mix and cook on a medium power for 10 minutes (I cook on a medium power to prevent over flowing and also make a thicker final product)

When Oatmeal is done cooking mix in Whey Protein, Cocoa Powder, and SF/FF Pudding Mix and Stir.

After everything is combined together top with Marshmallow’s and graham Cracker for display.

Ben & Jerry's Gelato!! With Haagen-Dazs, Breyers, and even Graeters getting in on the gelato action, what choice did they have? Talenti has proven it's a profitable market, so who can blame them? The good news is that someone will finally bring mass amounts of mix-ins to the gelato market.

Enough stalling, here's the initial line up.

Honey gelato with a caramelized fig swirl and pizzelle pieces

Caramel gelato with a salted caramel swirl and fudge filled stallion chunks

Latte Biscotti Crunch
Coffee and sweet cream gelato swirled together with chocolate covered biscotti chunks

Sleeping with the Fishes
Vanilla bean gelato with a river of fudge, white chocolate cinder blocks and fudge fishes

Zeppole for Me
Sweet cream gelato with swirls of pastry cream, fudge flakes and chunks of zeppole

As I got into the pint the Truffle pieces began to emerge in every single spoonful. This was awesome, the pieces are moist, chewy, and packed with flavor. These really make the pint and knowing graeters and mix-ins they do not shortchange you one bit. The overall base was good, and the mix-ins were fantastic. There is a reason Graeters is one of my favorite companies to purchase ice cream/gelatos from because they have a good balance of base and mix-in ratio to create a happy medium. Overall if you enjoy a boatload of mix-ins and truffle pieces on top of a good gelato base (especially if you are the mood for Hazelnut) look no further.

Overall this is a good pick up, for the amount of calories (230) per serving, you get an incredible swirl, perhaps the best caramel swirl I have had. It is so rich and dense in flavor the true creaminess of caramel truly shines. The base is good, its not great like a SSC Base from the gelato or the 2nd street base, but its up there and on par if not better than Ben & Jerry's. The Truffle mix-in is hit or miss, no where near as much as Talenti, around as much as in 2nd street, but the pieces are far smaller and not as dense as those others when trying to compare it to competition.

Garlic feta fries. Peanut butter and chocolate candy bacon wrapped dog. And baked Louisiana sausage dog with corn, hot sauce, peppers, and mozzarella.
