I know I'm bloated right now. No need to tell me, it's the end of the day. I'll be thinner for the show

Keep that tongue in and smile for the judges.

Make sure your back poses are on point. Lean back just a tad so the physique presents to the judges more

I'm at 300 carbs a day, only eating turkey and fish right now. I drop all carbs Friday, one week from stage. My cardio is still low, I'm upping that Friday as well.
Here are some picture from today

Lookin good, good luck at the competition

I would honestly try holding in your stomach a little more to emphasize your chest to ab ratio. You are lean and fat isnt the problem, but in your pics your stomach has a slight "pop" to it, practice flexing in the mirror with pulling your abs in tight, especially in your quarter turn pics. Good luck

2 days out, leaning out nice. Chest isn't as big as I'd like it, but oh well. Like I said, I'll be in the teen men's physique. I'm excited but super nervous at it will be my first show. I have my individual routine down, and I can't wait to show the judges and crowd what iv been working hard on.
This picture is from this morning. Thanks again for the help and advise. If you have any other comments, advise, or tips please let me know. Thank you.

One day out. I'm working abs, obliques, back, and shoulders today. Food and water is at a minimal

The trunks I will be wearing. I'll get my tan tomorrow afternoon before the show

Not were I want to be, but not looking bad.

You look to be around 8-9% body fat which is awesome for what your doing. When you tan up and sweat out that last bit of water itl make you look 0.5-1% leaner.

You should go get a fohawk haircut before the show, or get something stylish

Dont get a fohawk but def clean up the hair remember to smile and take your time posing. You will do great in the Teen physique class. Most kids your age dont have the shoulder definition that you do. Stay tall and give a good two count in your head after you hit your pose then move on to the next position. Also dont start pumping up too early, you dont want to go flat on stage. I would recommend stretching and getting the blood flowing when they call to the stage two classes before you then start to pump up when they call the class before you.

Well here is the only picture I have from pre judging. I was first one stage and wasn't sure really what to expect. I didn't get a big enough chest pump either. But here it is.

I took 6th place. Not as good as I'd like. I was shooting for top 5 sense they get trophies. There was probably 17 of us or so

You looked good bro. I aint tryin to steer u elsewhere but with another 20lbs of muscle you'd do excellent in the Teen Division bodybuilding over the next few years.

You've got the low body fat and high insulin sensitivity. Eat some carbs and protein and get big!

be proud, man. at 17 i was a 260lb fat **** playin videogames. if you stay on track you're gonna be a beast by your 21st bday

Solid work man! To have it be your first show and to be picked for the first call out is something to be really proud of! Keep up the hard work and keep clear goals in mind and you will accomplish a lot!

This is true. I started just before I turned 19. Make it your everything and you'll get massive relatively quick.

Just a little update for everyone. I am currently bulking. 2/3 clean diet rig by now. High carb and protein of course. My next show will be the Tahoe Show August 23rd. So about 5 months. With that time I figure I can put on 15-20 pounds and I will come out and shock everyone.

15lbs is gonna be tough in 5 months, not to mention another short cutter to fit in. I'd shoot for gaining 10-12lbs and cutting afterwards. If u cut slow enough, u wont strip the muscle away.

I would be very satisfied with 10 pounds as well. I want a bigger chest. That's what I'm shooting for. That's my weakest point and I think if I get some size on my chest it will make a big difference

Nice I used to live right by there in Grass Valley.

Nice I used to wheel up there a lot. Do you have any recommend workout programs? Right now it's chest and tris, back and bis, chest and tris, lower body. And repeat that. Always work up to as heavy as I can with 8-10 reps.

I would look into German Volume Training. While prepping for your show I imagine that you were during super high reps, the 10X10 set up of GVT will utilize your endurance that you built up while helping you gain some size and strength back.

For what its worth, the solution to get my chest to grow has been variety in my exercises an rep ranges.

I do em all, incline, flat, DB, BB, machines, free weights and anywhere from a 5/3/1 triset to 3 X 20+ reps.

I'd recomme d looking into Y3T training.
