TGR's Cheetos Chraining

Lol. Sorry I'm laughing at a sight impaired person but I can't help it. Looking forward to you logging some iron. BTW, your JeFit profile picture looks beastly!

Thanks Kenpo!

Just ordered a tub of the new Stimul8 Tropical Storm. I haven't tasted the samples yet, but I know Finflex will come through. I tried to order Max Pump, but couldn't find it where I found the STS. That sucks, last time I saw it there it was at $9. But, I snatched a couple of other awesome things and I'll post them as I use them. Can't Wait For Gym
I hope you follow my new Finaflex log?! I can't wait to try it either

Mmm. Cookies and Creme!

Starting to get excited for tomorrow. Probably won't do any lifting, but even the cardio will be a nice addition.

I've noticed that my overall energy is down from being limited in all my activities. I'm going to try and do a couple things in the yard today, but even that's really limited still.

I'm not counting cals today, but imma try and keep it as clean as possible. We don't have much junk lying around anyway. Contemplating doing ECA tomorrow. Post workout, of course, because I can't have too much tension behind the eyes.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Why dont you let your body adjust to the bp increases, etc from the cardio first. Then consider adding in the ECA. Would only delay you a few days.

I took 1/2 dose of a thermo this morning, and ECA this afternoon and all was well. Granted, I wouldn't take it before my workout. Going with only some coffee this week. At least the first few days. I won't push it too hard for sure.

My plan is to put in :50 minimum in cardio. This will start with treadmill, and may include resistance cycling, steps, and elliptical.

I know, I know, sounds too fun to handle in such a short time.

I will be at 1950 minimum (that's my TOTAL goal, but I'll be at least a couple over) calories Monday-Wednesday.

On Thursdays or Fridays, no matter what, I get hungrier and am more likely to cheat. So I'll try to proactively prevent that. I'll allow 2500 calories on Thursday. Whether I lift or do cardio only I'll still be at a deficit. But, I'll prevent overeating junk. I'll start with an oat shake pre-breakfast and something else similar shortly after. Just to prevent the extreme hunger.

Friday and Saturday I'm back to 1950.

Sunday, my leg day, I will do 2600. Still at a deficit, but plenty of calls to give me incentive to not overeat Saturday and to allow a slice of pizza if needed. I will not attempt full RM's legs this Sunday, but I'll see how I feel. Maybe 60% weight X 50% reps, or something.

Well...

I stepped on a belt buckle in the middle of the night and the tongue actually penetrated my foot, right in the arch. Talk about pain...

Needless to say, cardio is put on hold.

Ouch.... Hope that heals fast

Thanks man. If I remember right from the last time I stepped on a nail the pain doesn't last too long.

Maybe God was telling me it's too soon.

How many times did your Mom tell you to pick your stuff up off the floor? Lol. Tetanus shot? Had to hurt!

Holy! That had to hurt so bad!

It did, but I was at least able to go back to sleep.

Yeah, it's my own fault. I'm current on my shots fortunately,

Lets see a pictures of this wound. Sounds gruesome and painful.

Maybe I'll get one later. It was enough trouble getting my boots on this morning so I'm not taking them off now.

Has anyone tried the Walden Farms peanut spread or chipotle mayo (or any mayo)? I was just looking through their site and they have so many good looking things.

Ive tried the whole product line now basically lol

Their spreads are pretty hit and miss. Texture is always way off because it is just water, flavour, and thickening gum agents usually.

Didnt like the PB

Mayo was ok

Their syrups, BBQ sauces, and dressings are where its at.
Like the apple butter as well

I've heard great things about the syrup and BBQ also. I'll take your word for it on the other stuff...

The hickory smoked BBQ sauce is top notch.
Standard pancake syrup i like more than sugar packed versions.

If you have a sweet tooth like me the caramel syrup is awesome too, great in or on a cake/cheesecake/cupcakes.

Salad dressings are all pretty good, and the alfredo sauce was surprisingly good

I'm so-so on the dressing. I like the blue cheese pretty good though. All the ones I've tried aren't bad though. I wish I could find a place here that carried that stuff so I don't have to put in a huge order to see what I like.

Same. The only store near me that carried it discontinued the line recently.

The asian dressing and coleslaw dressing are the ones I use most.

Sucks when I get one I dont like though, I ordered 2 of the strawberry syrups thinking it would be good; went to the trash

That's how I felt about the ranch. Sat forever. The Asian sounds pretty good but I haven't seen it yet. Coleslaw neither.

I wouldn't even bother with mayo or pb - mayo the fat-free versions are like 10 cal/serving, & one of the main draws of pb IS the high calories/density - it's a good fuel source/keeps you decently full in lieu of a real dose of carbs, if you're going that route. The sugary syrups & bbq sauces would be what you're really wanting anyway - Sweet Baby Ray's is like 60 cal of sugar/2tbsp lol.

Sorry bout your foot broseph.

I haven't seen the fat free mayo recently. I do like the olive oil one, and I think it's 35/tbsp, so that's not bad.

Calorie ended at 1,916 with 186p/225/25f and 31g fibers.

Slept hard again last night I might drop the niacin and magnesium tonight just to see how I sleep. I guess I shouldn't complain, most people here complain of not sleeping.

Foot feels better, but still not good enough to run on. After walking on it all day I'll reevaluate for tomorrow.

Went to the doc yesterday and he said my eye is still gradually getting better. I need to keep BP at bay so the blood vessel doesn't reopen...

Calories will end similar to yesterday's hopefully.

No scale..

Today is day two of 2.5-3g creatine. Other than that I'm only taking the niacin, multi, and magnesium. I have ECA in my work car just in case.

I guess that's it!

Sounds like the belt buckle attack was a good thing to help keep you from raising BP doing your planned workout. I say give it another week my friend to let the eye (and foot heal).

That's kinda the plan. I want to start some cardio to get the blood flowing. Nothing fast, just a light, steady run or biking.

My BP rarely ever runs high.

Just in case my appetite gets outta control. My rested HR Is way low, and I'm already a caffeine junky. It shouldn't spike BP unless I'm overly active. At work, I'm definitely not.

Just in case you're asking what it is,
Ephedrine + caffeine + aspirin.

Just curious, isn't aspirin considered a blood thiner and should be avoided when healing from surgery? Bro science?

You are correct.

I don't think I like your tone. Lol

You're right. I'm being stubborn. I was told no aspirin for two weeks post surgery, which will be Thursday, but should probably at least add a week to give my eye a better chance at draining the blood.

Sorry, not trying to nag, just watching out for you brother. I just know how us iron addicts are! Lol

I know. I need to hear it and it's what makes this place so great.

Like you've said before, "you're strong enough to lift others up, not put them down". Or similar...

Here's what's pushing me to start working up to normal activity:

I'm being giving the same recovery recommendation at 32 and healthy as the 'normal' cataract surgery recipient. Which is typically 60+.

But, is probably make other excuses of that wasn't the case.

When does your awesome Finaflex package come?

Probably later in the week if I'm lucky. I put my order in late Friday so it probably wasn't shipped until Monday.
