breezy's training, supplementation, and food log

Great info! Thanks breezy

No problem, Pete.

I should just copy and paste what breezy says...we seem to be on the same page diet wise.

Lol. It looks to be working out well for you. You do great job staying lean (or getting leaner), while adding weight.

As always ... your diet info = awesome post. Thanks Breezy. How are you enjoy the caddy?

Thanks, wasme. I love it. It's faster and handles better than any car that I've driven, especially my Jeep.

Haha same here.

This method has made a big difference for me.

Yeah, I've experimented with a lot of "diets" and what I'm currently doing seems to be the most effective and manageable for me.

I've made some supplement changes recently and have more taking place soon. I started Norcodrene a few weeks ago and have Compound 20, Banana OxyELITE Protein (both from NP intro sales ) OG Erase Pro, Metabolic Powder, and bulk yhcl on the way. I plan on starting C20 (and protein) ASAP, MP in a week or 2, and will hold off a few more weeks on everything else. I have a tub of TEST Powder as well that I'll probably start around 5 weeks out, when my daily energy level and sleep quality have a better chance of declining. I might pick up a couple more things at some point, but haven't decided on what yet.

The rest of my supplementation includes the following:

Peptopro
HBCD (bulk/Glycofuse)
Modern BCAA+
EAAs (bulk)
ALCAR (bulk)
AP
MD's Ultimate GDA
Jack3d Advanced (occasionally)
Liv.52 (Indian version) *the healthier your liver, the easier it is to burn fat :)
Primal Defense Ultra (probiotic)

Solid list there breezy. Looks very similar lol

So interested in Peptopro but don't know enough about it to pull the trigger lol

Great supp set up!!!

Thanks dudes.

Haha it's expensive, but the benefits I get from it (combined with the rest of my intra mix), outweigh the cost.

Here's a meal (#2) from this morning that I forgot to post.

*organic free range omega eggs, egg whites, organic grass fed beef, diced turnip/turnip greens, organic red palm oil (cooked eggs/greens in it), fresh cracked black pepper, sea salt

That actually looks really good

Nice supplement game and sick meal. :D

Thanks Breezy, that was enlightening to say the least...

No problem, wasme.

I just finished a solid post-workout meal after getting back from a chest/shoulder pump session. There are set routines that I can use for all pump days, but I've been mixing in tri-sets every other week for chest and shoulders. Today had a couple of great ones, which were brutal. I did 4 rounds of each and added 2 rounds of pushups and 6 ways (used 5lbs because my shoulders were smoked), supersetted to failure.

Chest Tri-Set:
-Banded Pec Deck (good alternative to manual resistance flyes w/isotension if you don't have a partner)
-Free Motion (cable) Chest Press
-Banded HS Decline Press

Possibly the most intense chest pump I've experienced.

Shoulder Tri-Set:
-Bent-Over Cable Rear Delt Raises
-Band Over and Backs
-Spider Crawls

I could've sworn that the Spider Crawl video saved, but can't seem to find it on my phone. Either way, they were torture following the first 2 exercises.

I like both of those tri sets, definitely going to give those a shot

Nice, let me know what you think. They both lit me up pretty good.

Here's a couple band extension exercises that I was experimenting with during today's arm session. They weren't planned, but I added a set of each at the end of my tricep work. Good alternative for someone who has trouble doing "pain-free" skullcrushers/overhead extensions.

I definitely need to get myself some bands

They're a good investment.

Yeah, they're great to burn out the arms. I've done them on an incline and standing, by looping a band around the foot pegs on the bench shown in the video as well. Throwing one over a rack and doing pushdowns is another solid exercise.

My vascularity was ridiculous while training biceps today. I took Compound 20 with my pre-workout Cream of Rice/OEProtein (Banana is amazing), Jack3d Advanced immediately after (haven't been using pre-stims often, but decided to get some nitrates in for my arm session), and added TEST Powder and cit mal to my intra mix. I've been wanting to use TP with my intra for a while and cracked it open today. All of that combined had my arms ready to explode.

*This was between supersets of reverse bb curls and cross-body hammer curls. I was using the "baby weights" at the bottom of the picture. :)

I also got my bands for Elite FTS on Breezy's recommendation.. haven't looked back they are excellent.

Sick veinage bro!

..and thanks for posting up some bands alternatives. With my back out, once it starts to feel better I actually might do just a couple of band workouts so I don't have to lug weight around.

Dude don't overdo it. It would suck to make it worse.

Thanks guys.

I feel awful today. I woke up nauseous and with a massive headache. Thankfully, I didn't have to work (away from home) and could take a nap most of the morning. I felt a little better this afternoon and got in a light back session, but have felt like crap since getting home. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal after some sleep.

I tried something new today and it was great. Similar to a couple weeks ago, I did bb rows lying on a raised bench with my feet hanging off the end, but I incorporated a rack this time (similar to prone bb shrugs against rack). This really let me focus on driving my elbows up (and slightly back) and provided an awesome contraction, much stronger than without the guidance of the rack. It's very easy to adjust exactly where you're targeting by moving yourself up and down the bench as well. These are a definite keeper. I recorded a set, but it hasn't uploaded yet.

Breezy, I like how you're tweaking the light sessions every week.

Keeps it fresh and interesting. I still have yet to try the last light session John posted. That looks fun.

Hope you are feeling better Breezy. How about them B's... 110 points and looking like the Leafs are going to miss the playoffs as they have totally fumbled down the stretch.. :)

I did the skull crushes with bands today like you demonstrated in the video. New favorite pump exercise.

Winning.

Yeah, I still follow the pump day plan, but have been using a little more variety. That session was a ton of fun.

Thanks, wasme. I'm still not doing too good. I had to take work off yesterday and probably should've today. I am starting to feel better though. Go B's!

Awesome. Glad you liked them, brother.

I'm definitely not feeling 100%, but was able to get in a solid back session this morning.

I started with One Arm BB Rows, working up to 100 for 4 sets of 8 with a drop on the final set. On the drop, I switched my stance and really dialed in on my lats to finish them off.

Neutral Grip Pulldowns were next. When the bar was up to around ¾ lockout, I paused for a second and flexed my lats hard, before driving the weight back down. Flexing and holding at the bottom wasn’t a focus this time around. This approach smoked my lats pretty good.

Pronated Grip DB Deadstop Rows and DB Pullovers were next and I finished with 3 sets of high rep Band Good Mornings (35-40 reps).

Been a while since I popped my head in here. Time to get all caught up.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Great footage thanks. Like that drop set with the stance change.

Thanks man. I'm still not feeling too great, but seem to be slowly getting better. Yeah, I was a fan of that drop as well.

Hey breezy, I know your crazy busy but here's my new log if you want to follow

Thanks Pete. I'll check it out

Thanks for stopping in Jiigzz.

Training has been solid, despite being sick and having a crazy schedule. The highlight of yesterday session was a chest tri-set involving low pulley cable flyes (pulling up and in to chin level), slight incline banded db press, and incline banded db flyes.

After spending the day working on other people's training, I was feeling creative when I got to the gym for today's back "pump" session.

I started with neutral grip pulldowns for a giant set of 50 reps. I did 10 reps wide grip, 10 mid grip, 10 close, and then worked my way back out with another 10 reps each of mid and wide. The following 2 sets were done in 5 rep intervals (25 reps total) with a heavier weight and a hard 1 second flex at the bottom.

I moved on to slight incline elevated rack rows, like I did last week. Here's the 2nd set of 6 total:

After some DB pullovers, I was looking around for a unique way to hit my lower and mid back and came up with these. I used 2 different inclines for 3 sets each. If you have some bands, I highly recommend giving it a shot.

Nice! Ive been experimenting with bands more often lately and the payoff has been huge. Loving it so far

Glad to hear it, man. They're a great tool to have in the arsenal.

This afternoon's leg session was a good one. I worked my way up in weight on stiff-legged deads using the following rep scheme (after a few warm-up sets):

15 (225)
12 (275)
10 (315)
6 (365)

6 (405) *I added an additional set because my grip gave out twice (3rd and 6th rep) on the previous set and I was pissed (was using straps too). 365 didn't feel very heavy either.

Here's the sets at 315 and 365. I'll try to get the final set uploaded as well, but my phone died at the end and it didn't save properly.

The rest of my session included lying leg curls, leg press, and a ton back squats with 1 minute rest periods.
