Quick question guys. I think my friend is wanting to do a powerlifting meet. (She is a girl and she is 17) she is gonna be in the 132 weight class. Just wondering if any of you know about what weight is usually performed in this weight class considering the big 3?

Depends on the Fed. A lot of times there won't be any other women in that class anyway so it's an automatic first place.

Plus, it really shouldn't matter. It should just be about hitting PRs.

Yeah bro. Last February I decided to compete and self administer TRT. I had a friend that was a competitor (no longer alive) and him and some buddies pretty much sat my dumb ass down and layed it out for me. What I needed to do and told me the sacrifices I was about to make. I listened, talked to my parents and told me about my gear use (they knew already) explained the risk and they supported me. I hired a coach then found out my ass was going to afghan again because USA haters deserve to die, got told by some haters that I didn't have what it takes. After I fed them their nut sacks I put on 20lbs, recouped, completely changed my physique on a year. I am still yet to miss a single workout or cardio session in a year.... Including time spent in a combat zone. I can count the days my diet was off in that time on one hand. How's that for "not having what it takes"? Lol those guys are now smaller than me and asked for cycle advice a month ago. I told them to eat **** and go to G N C and buy a stack. Imagine what I will accomplish in another year. Gunna be crazy as fuk... Especially with my GH stockpile I got. Gunna run that sh*t at 10iu ed for 2 months while eating 6000 calories on slin. That's gunna be real size right there. *edit* totally am writing this after smashing this girls guts. She's in the bathroom right now. I got a 5 star rating from her :) apparently I am a Greek god of eating vag. I told her it's because I'm dieting and my coach says I can eat as much vag as I want. Oh yeah and I'm not small. I thought she was gunna cry when she said harder and I put my weight behind it.... Oh yeah.. Dat ass!!! She squats :)

she's too young to power lift, u can **** ur self up putting that much stress on young bones. Dudes shouldn't start heavy lifting till 18 ether.

no disrespect brah, but i disagree with this.

When you lift heavy your bones will increase in density.

Also the whole lifting stunts growth thing has been disproved. Sorry, no studies to post- I'm on my phone.

Weight training is one thing, powerlifting is a totally different thing.

Going to start off light. So I mean she could essentially do 5x5 5/3/1 and be fine.

I was the strength couch for a high school football team, freshman to seniors. Even the kids who were freshman then, that I run into now from time to time, are still lifting and are big, strong young adults (the freshman from my first year are early 20s now). If you start them out properly and progress at the right pace you can set a solid foundation of strength and size. The only major issue requiring serious attention is joint safety. Young tendons and ligaments are still developing and immature, but as long as you don't push too hard, even young teens can improve athletic ability very quickly.

ive actually trained a decent amount of teens also. They do make very quick improvements and safety is a big concern. I wish our school systems would inform our youth a little more on health and nutrition. They gave us a health class and some lame videos, but none of that really stuck. I feel as if we as a society educated our youth on nutrition then obesity in America would not be such a large concern, and can we get some decent food in these lunch rooms!! Some schools are much better than others for this tho.
 
I can see where your coming from Chris as heavy exercise can supposedly close growth plates prematurely and I have actually seen this first hand but I would think around the 16 year old mark shouldn't have any adverse effects in the long run.
 
Bench press super set bicep curl.. Curl Bro detected. Just kidding. Get her squatting, you'll appreciate it in a month or two when her ass becomes perfect

Oh we are gonna do all 3, but her first meet she might just do benchpress. She is way familiar with bench than deadlift and squat.

Normally I wouldn't. There were about 30 women there for bikini and figure. Total smoke shows. But I didn't give a fuk. I ain't there for tail I am there to become the best bodybuilder. If I'm driving 2 hours and paying someone to coach me for 3 hours the last thing I care about is tail. I can get that whenever I want. I am to the point in my prep that getting laid doesn't matter. I want to win MUTHA FUKIN TROPHIES!!! lol
