Thanks dude. I think I was focusing on form really hard and not as much on pulling plus some other factors. Lifts were all really clean though just felt heavy. Probably because I wasn't cheating with my back. I was like cramping and stuff too though in the low back pretty bad. I was tight all day and mashed but didn't do much. I had to get my belt taped on because its close to ripping and the new one isn't here yet. And I had to tape weights on the end of the bar to get to 530.

Yeah. I can get 585 then have a little sliver the next plate kind of hangs on to but usually falls off. It's also bigger, no knurling and very stiff.

That bar makes me angry lol

See above... Sucks. Plates do too. And the floor. And the gym. Everything. Good news is I have 2 great places to train this summer that are PL gyms.

Thanks man. I would have loved to see 530x3 or maybe 4.... Body felt all kinds of weird hip was jammed up in on right, glutes were firing weird, hams were screaming, and back was locked up weird. Plus the belt issues. Idk WTF I did to myself.

Thanks. I was happy I got a clean second rep off. Pushed hips through for the lockout trying to keep away from the hitch. Getting much better with form has helped that. I still need to lock the knees out just a little sooner.

I hate uneven floors cause the weight always rolls makes it so hard to setup.

I hear ya - In that meet a few weeks back, the platform was just a couple sheets of plywood. Go to grab onto the bar, but as soon as I touched, it rolled like 5 inches out. Stop, reset & go for it again....

That's one word for it. Really heavy and painful is another. Haha. Thanks man. I have inflammation in all the tendons/muscles and some looseness of the glenohumeral joint. Slight instability, mild pain. I think I have anterior shoulder impingement. Things are improving though. I'm not quite sure what caused it. Continuing to take care of it and heal up while progressively coming back to more weight. Considering seeing the PT if I need to. Actually feels pretty darn good today... It's bench day but I was gona take it off for bench at least. Might do some work with 185. 225 next week. Work my reps up there. Then progress a little heavier.

I got to used to him having big deads I skipped the pull complement and was blown away by the meal lol

Yeah I like food more than deadlifts too.

quick abs and stretch. Nice pump today, shoulders feeling better and better...

belt and tork came in today but didn't make it to the post office. I'll get it tomorrow for squats baby! 390x1+ is on the menu.
 
Goodies are here. Tork is strong. Belt is nice. Getting it adjusted to fit but had to go to class. I got it close but could use it a little snugger. I'll have more bloat though by gym time so not gona get too excited about it. It's almost a little big but when I measured I was in the middle of a large. I'm at the next to last hole on this one. Just a lot of extra material. Good thing I plan on growing into it.
 
It is pretty nice. I'm excited to use it today.

Fits much better now that I have my bloat on :) hahaha. Definitely meatier than my old one. Everything is very nice and strong construction.
 
390x4!!!! Fockinggggg huge PR. I haven't even touched over 385 except in wraps. I'm ecstatic. Might have had 5 but left one in the tank because my right knee was being fussy.

Stretch.

Eat. Foods kinda eh. Shake. Grilled cheese. Baked potatoe. Tuna and cheddar on white sandwich. Carb heavy for sure. I'll snack on chicken in the room later.

Getting there, if I can ever get back to bench. If I hadn't lost it I think I could get real close right now.... This summer I should break it assuming bench comes back around. How did they look to you?

I still can't quite figure out where I pulled this from. I felt awful today. Food wasn't good. Now sleep this week (less than 4 last night) and knee pain. Plus It took every thing I had and 3 sets to get 370x3 last week.... I dunno. I should be able to grab 30 or so pounds with knee wraps and practice so I might be able to see 500 this summer if I keep things up.


That's a 1,2,3 and 4 rep PR for unwrapped squats too. LOL.
 
Squats looked good, man. Your form keeps getting tighter and tighter. Remember to drive your back into the bar, especially when it's getting heavy or you're getting tired.

That's what I was cueing along with getting my hips back under me and not letting them rise an keeping my arms tucked. Basically keep torso upright. Definitely helped. Firing back into the bar has to be one of the best cues ever. I'm also happy I'm having zero issue at all with depth.
 
Nice PR man.. That weight was flying I think you could of got 1-2 more.. 500 is deff possible in wraps this summer.

Thanks my man! That first rep was definitely flyin! I think that will be my goal for the summer/year whatever. Need practice in wraps though.
 
So this is that guy I told you was at the gym by me who had a seminar. Just saw some pics and I really wana check the gym out now. Also apparently this guy grew up/went to school 20 minutes from me. Lives in Columbus now though. Invalid Link Removed

Knee is feeling better today. Never really got sore til last night from squats. I stretched and ate good soon must have helped.
 
I decided since I'm gona rest Thursday ill see what happened today.

Bench Deload. Bw 198.

Bench. Bar. 10,10,15. 135x3x7-10. 185x7,10,12. 225x1,3. 135x1.

Everything was pain free. Icing now. Rest this week. Did some light rows and stretching. That's it. Gona really take some time off this week.
 
This week is Deload week.
Hit bench up to 225x3. Shoulder is feeling good so far.
Today I did deads and did some speed sets at 124,225 and 315. Felt good. Was getting comfortable with the new belt in the deadlift.
