Douchebags at the gym...

My classmate just told me that she trains for 3-4 hours a day at the gym. 2 hours of cardio, 2 hours of weight and she's gonna bump it to maybe 5 hours because summer is coming... :keepmouthshut:
you forgot to tell her that talking doesn't count as cardio. She actually needs to try and sweat
 
decided to max on my squat today and yet again, dudes fingers never left the bar blahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Does anyone that squats heavy have lower back discomfort when going light? Sounds weird but anything over like 2 1/2 plates I feel fine, with 135 my back sorta bugs me...

Funny because I jacked up my back bad last Monday squatting 225. Dave's answer is most certainly on point regarding rounding the spine. That weight for me is a step above warmup

Not here its not. It was today but will be gone tomorrow lol today was 54 degrees and sun. Tomorrow's low is -4 and were expecting 5-8 inches of snow...go home Indiana your drunk.
 
Ugh... Sometimes to avoid rush hour traffic, I stop at the gym by my work. It's in a rich little neighborhood, with the most stuck up effn people. I wanted to choke this chick out when she gave me an effn attitude. I'll just stay in traffic for an hour and a half now and go to my home gym...

I do go there sometimes, mostly on the weekends. It's $30 for a 5 visit pass which is pretty cheap, I'll go on strength weeks to do prowler and tire flips and sht. It'd be nice to use as my everyday gym but the hours aren't good for that given the commute. It's only $30/mo tho.

Fun to see ct and Kalimuscle and ppl like that haha.

We have the prowler and tires at my gym also. I've never used them though. The hours at my gym totally suck! Who closes at 9 on the weekends?! Smh! I'll more than likely switch back to 24 hour fitness. I definitely over pay for my gym.
 
You should use them! Prowler is the best for cardio and you can do it for much less time, lock in gains the day after squats. Tires are amazing too, it'll help your core strength and deadlift and feels badass.

I'll just do like 10 full out sorints with it with heavy weight and my xvest, along with walks to and from the gym that's all the cardio I do.

So I was a total douche tonight. My friend sent me a pic of himself doing shoulder presses and I said, "oh, that must have been an old picture because you look a lot fatter!" His response, "that was 3 days ago!" O.o :footinmouth:

I think my last vest was only 20lbs and my ankle weights were 10lbs. I felt like I was sinking in quick sand. :)

I feel like a dbag bought some preworkout (nano vapor, normally I don't touch mtech products) but it was on sale for 32.95 + 25% military discount(gonna miss that once the divorce is final) and I thought I checked the ingredient list carefully because I hate yohimbe, well I didn't wasn't to bad at one scoop but riding home with a delicious smelling pizza on my lap knowing I couldn't eat it sucked.

Still don't like how cracked out y makes me feel but at on scoop not bad and being on a budget 40servings for $24 ain't bad.

Sorry for the long post 400mg caffeine and a morning doobie got me chatty

i had the same experience, bought nano, didn't notice the yohimbe, never tried it again after the first scoop, it's just sitting at the bottom of one of my drawers of supplements. I remember taking two "extenze" one night and it was a nightmare, not only could I not f^ck, I had the shakes so bad I had to just go home lol, fckn yohimbe
 
Its actually manageable at one scoop so I don't think the dose is real high it says 25mg yohimbe bark extract but I don't know what its standardized for so no telling what its real dose is.

This kid in my class got up to talk about cross fit. Oh god. I couldn't even listen to him without getting mad. He said he's been doing cross fit for 4 years and looks like he has never touched a weight. He said no one gets hurt either and cross fitters are te strongest. Then he goes into how going to the gym alone is boring because you have no one to talk to.

I'm about to snap. Who the **** goes to the gym to talk?! Train and stfu. And he said 200$ /mo is a small price to pay for physical fitness.

I need to go smash legs now or else I'll freak out. Wrivest don't get mad at me lol

I have no beef with cross fit just the guys who preach it really. When he started bashing people who actually lift, I was about to stop him. He pulled the everyone who is big is a meat head and is an idiot sterotype.
