Restarting

Well had a couple days In the gym. Not nearly the time I like to rack but at least I made it. Found a cross fit gym where I'm at so checked it out. While in there got asked these 3 question

" are you training for some kinda competition"
No

"Are you on steroids"
No

Was hitting a speed bag , and not all that great
"Dude are you a boxer"
No

But felt like thanking everyone for blowing my ego up lol

Diet is still not back to normal. Not eating trash but not eating enough either. Back on the road In a couple days then the madness should be over.

I love the speed bag, and bag work in general.


I should try to set one up again, takes me back to when my old man was still around.
 
3 hrs left.... Then this retched trip is finished. Gym , food , water , rest , hell life , should be back to normal. Looking forward to the norm. Gotta start job/house hunting. Neither task is ever fun but looking forward to both.

Phones been dead. But finally settled in. Got some home workout stuff set up. Should be back In the groove tomorrow. Diets dialed back in from traveling. Haven't been logging gym time like i want. But under the given conditions right now I'm making due with what I can. So routine and meals should make it up in full swing starting back tomorrow.

Diet felt good today for the first time in about 10 days. Never slipped into the "bad" track but not what I wanted for this four week plan I had in mind. Still trucking away. This four week goal might have become a 6 week goal. Grocery shopping tomorrow hopefully. Working out is gonna have to happen at home for a lil bit. I have plenty of stuff to get the mission accomplished. But just mixed up some of this delucious g8. Gonna pound some z's and then weights tomorrow.
 
Up and at it. About to get this party started. Had some outside training planned but it's pouring rain. Can't stand doing stuff when I'm soaked so prolly keep it in the garage. None the less , bout to get after it

Warm up:
Single leg/stiff leg kb deadlifts
3 x 10/leg @ 25lb kb

Kb oh swings
3 x 20 @ 25 kb

Work out
Standing hammer curl/oh ext
5 x 7/7 @ entire stack of power blocks. Weight around 55 each. Not sure exact though

Seated alt DB curls/ bent over DB kb
5 x 7/7 @ green marker on power block stack

Trx tri ext/curls
5 x 10/10 @ bw

Standing band hammer curl/band push down
3 x 10/10 band res unknown

Band oh ext
5 x 10 @ res unknown

10 lb med ball toss
5 x oh throw
5 x ground up throw

20 mins cardio
Walk through the neighborhood with the mutt

3 mins ab circuits no rest

Finished with some foam rolling and some static stretching.
 
:party: nice to see you back in the saddle weather-wise: after being in 50s last 2 days (inc 58 yesterday) we had some nastiness roll in back into the 20s today, w/ 4-6" snow accumulation expected [sigh]

It's great to be back at it. Getting out of routine has been driving me insane. Kinda felt like a turd. Back though , and swinging for the fences
 
Breakfast was quick so no pics.

1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp organic almond butter
Been a while since I are rolled oats. Going back to my steel cut ASAP

2 whole eggs. Scrambled
1/2 cup mushroom
1/4 large red onion

Some left over wild boar meat. Went to use my scales and stupid battery was dead. I'd say about 2 1/2 oz though
 
Haven't had wild hog yet, surprisingly. It's big huntin' around here.
 
Working on some lunch. Trying to get macros figured before I plate it up. But nothing fancy. Chipotle ranch pasta salad mixed with 99 ff chicken breast and a can of black eyed peas

This meal turned out to be completely bunk. The sausage is full , and I mean full , of bone chunks and not edible. Bunk. Now I'm on the hunt for some healthy protein.

I'm still pretty pi$$ed about it. Wasted money buying it. Wasted time cooking it. My dog enjoyed it though

I probably would've eaten it anyway. Just threw some pepper on it. :)
 
Ha. I tried. Drowned it in hot sauce. Tried to convince myself it wasn't that bad. It really was.

If hot sauce doesn't cure it nothing will.
 
Well my daily rhythm , so to speak, seems to be creeping back to where I like it. Not able to get back to the gym but able to knock out some stuff at home. Meals , shakes , and macros much closer to par. Like everything else in life , it's a constant work in progress. But back to a happier medium than the past few days. Still haven't made it to get groceries but I packed enough to eat clean for a few more days. Another round of g8 for this guy. Hit the bricks first thing tomorrow. ( by bricks I mean helpless kittens )
 
Bout to get rolling on some fit guy type stuff. Out of pwo. Lame. Guess it's a good time to take a break from it. Gonna do a lil reverse with my routine. Back is somewhat tweaked today. Gonna start my routine with a bit of walking cardio. Then incorporate my foam rolling and static stretches before I toss the iron around. Routine posted shortly.

Rack time. Not going to the gym is killing me. Still getting to workout/lift but it's just not the same. Made it to the grocery store. Egg whites , grape fruit , and cases of h2o. Brought plenty of healthy boxed up carbs with me. Grabbed chicken , turkey , and broccoli. And my budget was spent. Gonna be a lil bland till I can settle in some more. Thank god for the spice rack I lugged down.
