A BEASTS training log.

I figure now is the best time for me to keep training heavy - its not gonna last forever obviously, so I figure I'll do that now & increase volume/decrease load as I age or as injury prevents. My best odds to put up the numbers I'd like are to keep going while I'm young I figure.
 
I miss PL but I don't miss being hurt all the damn time. Obviously I let ego get involved but either way PL just ain't for me no mo...
 
I don't do quotes often as most are regurgitated crap. I see some truth to the one on Kai greene's Facebook so I thought I would share

Bent over row 6 work sets

Hs pull down 4 work sets

Meadows row 4 work sets

Stretchers 3 work sets

Db pull over 2 work sets

Hs shrug 3 sets with 3 sec holds

Bb shrug 3 sets

Standing calves 4 sets

Seated calves 3 sets

Leg press calves 3 sets

No hams today. Lower back is still sore.

Great lift today. Totally enjoyed it. Did some mixes with very high and low rep sets.

Deca is going to 600. Think in about 3 weeks some drol is coming into the mix. Gonna be PR smashing time.

That's the way I am looking at it. Just don't want to have to dip into my savings account but since I've gone 4 weeks without an unemployment check I'm going to have to anyways.

Anywho... Anyone think I can hit 17 sets per group in my arms today? I think I can... :-D
 
Triceps-

Warm up vbar pd 4 sets

Ss
Vbar pd, overhead rope extension x4

Ss
Dip machine, pronated kickbacksx4

Ss
Cgbp, one arm oh db extensions x3

Biceps-

Seated db curls off the preacher bench meadows style 4 sets

Bb curls 4 sets

Hammer curls 4 sets

Idk the name of the machine, 3 sets.

Only hit 15 sets but my arms are ON FIRE. Big pump. Feels great.

Anyone ever experiment with occlusion training? Thinking of playing with it for calves hams and biceps.. Lemme know experiences.
 
I've seen Breezy post about occlusion training, I believe. I'm not that familiar with it though.

I just saw it in real3d or whatever. Pretty impressive photography and such. Did a good job keeping it alive from the first one. Definitely worth the money. Well. Maybe not in Canada. I remember getting salads with chicken and a diet coke for lunch and paying like $25 which is outrageous. Can't imagine how expensive a movie is.

Decided to go maul my back today.

Bent over rows Dorian style 5 work sets

Hs pulldowns 4 work sets

Db rows 4 sets

Medium width grip lat pulls 4 sets

Pull overs 2 sets

Tried to occlude my bi's and do some preacher curls. All I had was my straps, they're definitely not long enough so I did an fst7 style set.

Your workouts have been grueling! I have not tried the occlusion training yet but will at some point. Never thought what was best to wrap with though?

Lol I'm gonna start hitting it all twice a week. Unemployment got me BORED! Lmao.

They say knee wraps work well. I may try my wrist straps since they're a little more thin and collecting dust. I'm yet to occlude, I'll be doing calves tomorrow for sure I'll let you know what worked best to wrap them.

Elk is by far one of the most delicious meats I've put in my mouth.

I've seen him do some underhand rows; that was the reason I ever tried it. I hate it lol; much more difficult & bicep intensive.
