As of today no more supplements until after the final eye checkup (sometime in April). I dropped Niacin Friday, DCP 2.0 and Vanillean were finished yesterday, and the next couple workouts before surgery I'll use coffee as a PWO.

Today's lunch/cheat:

2 slices of Sam's 3-meat pizza (440 cals each)

2 McDouble's w/ mayo (360 cals each)

1 med bag Cheetos (525 cals)

1 Fun Size Reeces (80 cals)

So far I'm at 2,645 calories once you include my breakfast. I'll be having a salad and homemade baked wings (approx 700 cals wings will be consumed).

I'll regret this later, probably.

The plan is to jump back to 2400 cals the next 3 days, then possibly a juice day on Thursday (day of the surgery), then 2100/day throughout the remainder of my rest time. I may do 1-2 juice days a week... we'll see how I feel.

My wrist is swollen and really sore today. I fractured it in several areas about 4 years ago and had 10 total pins in my arm/wrist. This is the first time that It's felt like this since rehab. Figures, this is the only week that I'm not allowed to have any ibuprofen. I hope it doesn't feel like this tomorrow or I may have to do a cardio day instead of Chest/Shoulders. Was hoping to finish Meadows' week 3 this week.

Sleep was sporadic, dreams were weird... As would be expected after eating all that junk yesterday. Hopefully it won't affect today's workout.

Wrist is better than yesterday. Feels very tight and pain is probably a 1.5/10. Not enough to screw with anything at this point.

Hope you guys have a gret workout!
 
Maybe wrapping that wrist would help give it more support? This old guy wraps them all the time while lifting. Hope it heals brother.

Not a bad idea. I kept having to pop it into place today. The timing really couldn't be better with my forced break approaching.

If you don't have wrist wraps then use a long piece of Ace bandage. I wrap fairly high towards knuckles in such a way that you can't bend the wrist easily. It really helps with that subsequent wrist soreness. Besides, "popping" that wrist into place does not sound good at all. You don't want arthritis in that wrist later in life.

Unfortunately, arthritis is a guarantee in this wrist.

Probably slept close to 7 hours last night but feel like it was 5. I took 1x 400mg Magnesium before bed and that was it. Maybe it was my high carbs for dinner.

Also had a dream I was applying at a burger joint as a second job and lived in this tiny 600sf apartment. The burger joint had bunk beds.

Thanks Mark. I will try to stay strong. I can have a thermo the first week after the operation but have to give them up a week prior to the second one. That's an option if the Reece's come after me.

Good luck with the surgery Thomas. Your diet might sway at the start but you'll have no problems keeping things in line. You have proven how committed you are to this.

On a side note, how is your brother? I have not seen him on here in forever...

I don't know if I'm really any hungrier or if it's just that I know there are no more cheat meals. It's like when I quit smoking, I chain smoked the last day.

That said, I still stayed below maintenance. Because I'm not at my desired BF, however, as why I'm whining about it.

So, imma try to stay between 2400-2600 tomorrow, but not too worried about it. My last lifting day, so...

Gonna freaking kill it tomorrow. It's MD arms day, and I'm going to hit 3 PR's at least!
 
Well, I didn't count, but I had a protein bar last night after posting. And a fiber one bar.

And some peanut butter.

A few more days like I've eaten over the past few and I could really put on some bad weight.

I'm gonna get it in check though.

I slept horribly again. Woke up in a sweat at around midnight. House was around 66-68° (cold front came through yesterday).

I took no magnesium this time. I have been still taking OTC PCT and my last dose will be today, but that's never done this to me before.

BTW, I have a (non-medicated) HR of 45-49. They said this was really low, and they were concerned that they would have to give me something to spike it.

Coffee, bitc**es, gimme coffee.

Also, the anesthesiologist said creatine is not good for me and I should cut back (3G 5-6 days a week). That's crap.
