315 for reps at 185

Damn 4x12 @ #315...! 44 total reps eh!? Impressive. A good chunk of work capacity.

Are you working towards anything in particular or goals with the reps etc.???

yeah, that's some good work. what % of your 1rm is that?

48 reps sounds awful at any %.

i'm usually 18-20...

That's very nice. I did something like this the other day actually, and barely beat you and I weigh almost 230 right now haha. You definitely are strong, nice work.

No, my goal was to simply re-gain strength in my back. I hurt it doing rack deads several months back.
I decided that consistently working lower reps was not in the cards for me (for leg training).
Something always goes wrong.
Form? maybe. Either way, this is working.
I don't really have a goal here, I was simply working on a progression.

I started with 15 reps for 5 sets at got 245 fairly easy.
the next week, I was going to go for 265, and decided on 275 (not sure why, sometimes I get greedy) and handled that for 5 sets, 15 reps.
So, then I was looking through a 1RM chart, and looked into doing a progression.

Since I don't truly know my 1RM for DLs, I've just used the numbers I have in front of me, which are that I can do 275 for 15.
So, from there I looked at some numbers to see if I could increase my 1RM by around 5lbs per week.
And that is working so far, this week I got 405 x 6 (wasn't planned), but only for 1 set. 2nd set I was gassed.

We are all in this together :)
I'm slowly gaining strength.
I feel I've found a rep range that works well for my strength, especially for my legs.
My strength really falls off for my legs in the 1-8 rep range. It just doesn't seem to hold true to any 1RM chart.
So, I decided 20 reps would be a dreaded leg day forever. So, 15 sounded good, and I started there.
