TGR Leaning out with the BPS Super Stack (Vanillean and DC

Nice numbers... curious where all the fiber comes from.

Solid session Thomas!

Greens and beans. That's where 90% of my carbs come from too. A couple times a week I'll have a Fiber One bar. Tastes like a candy bar. :)

Thanks Wasme.

No problem man, you have been consistantly killing it - for months!

Ya Fiber one bars are good.. have you had a Quest bar?

Oh, yes. I need to get me a case of those. I have only tried a few though.

Yesterday's cals were 2,418 and 286/172/63 with 40g fibers.

I did not jump on the scale this morning. Maybe tomorrow.

My shoulders and hammy's (still!) feel a little sore today. I'm going to go in and do abs and calves, and then cardio to fill the leftover time.

I'm very much looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow!

Other notes:

While adding adding ground oats to my protein shake adds a flavor that is delicious, it doesn't mix well in my coffee. I will probably make two and a half shakes so I can still have awesome tasting coffee and an awesome tasting protein shake.

Prodigy tastes like absolute **** when it gets clumpy. Don't do it.

Gone are the days of getting my headphones stuck on weights, dumbbells, pins, the treadmill, dip belts, and whatever else.

I would've been fine with just the Reece's, tbh, but my wife knows me oh-so-well. I have a huge drawer of Reece's and pop tarts and protein bars that I'm really not allowed to eat yet, with the exception of a taste here and there...

Happy Valentines Day y'all!

Now that's a woman that loves you! Hey, you are on a cut! I'll volunteer to save your endeavor, send those Reese's to me!

Lol! Over my cold, dead hands.

I'd share though...

Have you guys had the new butterfinger peanut butter cups!? Or the Snickers rocky road?
Stop it! You're not good for my waistline growth! Lol Must not go to store's candy isle!

Just saw the commercial a couple days ago and it took me 3 stores to find them cause everyone was completely sold out.

Think of a Reese's cup with butterfinger crunches inside the PB
Yuuuuummmmmm! Thomas is running 5 miles to the store as we speak! You are evil Pete!

Sorry, ever since I saw the commercial I had to try it! If he runs there, eats it then runs back he may be able to burn it off the pack is only 230 calories. My wife and I split ours

LMAO. You guys know this is a cutting log, right?

I decided during the 3rd set of raises that I’d do two sets of sit-ups and head home to spend a few extra minutes with my wife. She was making a breakfast for kiddo using leftover banana pancakes from last weekend.

I dunno what I’ll do tomorrow, probably core and cardio again. My hams are still a little sore, so I may not start the next leg day until Sun or Mon.

I've neglected calves for far too long. Being a FFB, I had huge calves when I first started losing weight. They shrunk along with me ;)

I've recently started working them twice per week, doing heavy sets of 5 X 5 standing Smith machine and 3 X 10 seated.

I use Lyle McDonald's recommendations :)

Yesterday's cals were 2,528 with 279/156/83 and 39 fibers:

Morning weight was 189.4

It's been a yo-yo over the last month:

I may drop to 2,200-2,400 this next week, or keep my net carbs below 100. Or both... I could use a 1-2 week drop in cals.

I have lots of yard work to do today and I still plan on doing some cardio. I'll post for certain later.

No more pics until the end unless I see some crazy changes...

Have you noticed much difference since doing them 2xWeek?

I naturally have large calve too. At least in comparison to my upper legs. Don't feel I have to work them much at this point.

Mmm. McDonalds.

Just kidding...

Lol at the McDonalds ;) I've noticed they aren't getting sore! which is kinda odd. Maybe it's muscle memory from when I was 335 lbs, lol. I'm gonna stick with it for eight weeks. His method makes sense, though. You go explosive on the standing and squeeze up the seated to prevent the Achilles' tendon "bounce". My calves are only 16" or so unflexed right now.

Notice that your weight is trending "down". Also, with your intensity you've got to be putting on muscle as well.

Thanks Kenpo! I think It has helped to not just take a HUGE caloric deficit like I've done in the past. I probably step on the scale too much, too. I'm probably around a pound lost a week, on average. I can't complain about that.

I did 36 min of cardio on the street. I walked portions but HR was booming the whole time. I got a good hamstring pump, oddly. Still worked up from the last leg day, I guess.

Post workout meal was tuna, celery, mustard, a HB egg, and a whole jalapeño. Approx cals: 180

188 this morning and looking super lean!

Calories were only 1,874 yesterday...

Way to go buddy! "Continue to spur a running horse" .... Hagakure

How are you feeling on so few calories?

That's the first time I was that low in a little bit. I'm not lifting today so I probably won't test it.

I don't 'feel' the energy to lift, really. I may have a 2800-3000 cal day today. Tomorrow is legs and I'm off so there will be no time limit. Gotta get some energy.

I wish I was as good as some of these guys with manipulating caloric intake around their training but diet has always been my downfall.

I agree with this. Especially being older, I find it very hard to manipulate the diet and see logical results.

I still try and keep a certain weekly average. For example, if my goal is 2400-2600, I'll stay on the low end all week if I plan on upping one-two days.

Spring is approaching, and last spring/summer my maintenance was 3300-3400. I think it was all the extra yard work I was doing.

I tasted the Cinnamon Bun Quest bar. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 6. Not that great, IMO.

That's exactly what I am doing right now. I'm trying to "clean bulk" and eat really high cals on workout days and on rest days I decrease my calories by decreasing carbs only.

interested to know if you looked into some bf calipers? i really feel this would be a big help!!!

I'm measuring broccoli/oats right now. As soon as I'm done I will order some.

Sometimes I procrastinate...

If you have anymore... pop in the microwave for 10 seconds... that 6 will become a 9

I believe that. I will pick that up again and try it. I have cheesecake and two PB ones. May give the cheesecake one to my wife. Not a fan.

at least you are measuring, lol.

I measure everything. Drives my wife crazy at times. Lol.

that is one hellova big bag of broccoli, lol......probably go bad before i could eat it!!!

I've been eating 2-2.5 bags/week myself. I munch on it to keep me from getting hungry enough to want something I can't have. Especially since I have a huge drawer full of stuff I can't have...

Man, just put all the routines in for this weeks MD training. Legs and arms look brutal.

Thursday is my eye appointment. I'm going to try and push the surgery off a month to when we're taking a mini-vacation anyway. I'm thinking if I have to take two weeks off I'd stet back with a deload-type week, then start the MD cycle over from week one.

Pisses me off to think about it. I'll ask the doctor if I can do uphill treadmill walking at least...
