Oh man I'm not going to be there till the 26th! Were staying at some kind of resort and it has a gym so I'm pumped about that, I don't have to miss any workouts.

I'm trying to figure out my weekend meals. Unfortunately, I have to eat up what wife and kiddo don't eat. Gonna be some banana consumption going on tomorrow because they'll spoil first.

Also, wife and I will probably go have Japanese or something tomorrow so I have to fit that in if so. We won't be child free on Valentines so gonna get a date in early. Maybe even some Sake.

Hey with those bananas you can make some awesome pancakes. Just use one or two eggs per banana mash it all together season it with some cinnamon and vanilla and cook it up just like you would a regular pancake. They are awesome especially with a little peanut butter

Morning weight was 192.2, on the drop again.

Ending cals were 2,564. I had to have a 170 cal protein bar. All the recent talk about quest!! I stayed in my cut range, though.

Macros were 277/232/63 and 59 fibers:

Next week I'm going to increase protein/fats and drop some carbs. I ate beans this week and it pushed my daily carbs up. Still no rice or taters. :(

I think I might do quite a bit of cottage cheese, too. It's tasty, and it always fills me up.

I have no idea where my diet is going today or tomorrow, or whether there will be any lifting. I'll keep it low, especially if we don't go to dinner.

If we do, I'll aim for 5,000 or < over the two days.

I'm also going to go to the office and try and print the Mountain Dog routine.

I lied. I think I will try this. I don't know if we have vanilla, but I can always add enough egg to where the mix isn't too thick and add vanilla protein powder.

Question: have you given thought to eliminating dairy completely? As I age I find that dairy bloats me. I'm also reading that milk contains hormones and other substances used to enhance the cow itself that may have adverse effects on humans.

I've never really put much thought into it.

No, almond milk is from almonds. I propose that you eliminate all dairy for the next month. No cottage cheese either. See how your body responds. What do you think?

I have some cottage cheese I have to finish up, but I'll give that a go Monday or as soon as some items are cleared from here.
 
This is going to be hard to do but I think you may see results. As far as the milk protein isolate that's tough to call but I can tell you that when I ran Man Sports' PF3 I eliminated my protein shakes and my bloating disappeared. So, let the experiment begin.

Hmm. Yeah, I switched from cow milk to almond milk, but I just spent over $70 on Protein mix. I can't give that up yet. Wife will be pissed. Lol.

My wife would kill me also! So with the protein mix being "processed" I think you should be OK using it. I know this sounds like bro science but there is evidence out there against dairy for adults especially older adults.

Nah, I know a lot of people who don't do dairy. I'm going to work towards trying that. Going through some of the stuff I have to try it. I've also considered trying to go gluten free.

Gluten is next on my list as well. I know that when I consume pasta or breads that I feel ill and bloated. 53 and getting older sucks! When I was younger I ate anything and everything!

I heard that. If I ever get to where I can't have anymore spicy foods, I quit at life (jk). Especially now that I've found out about Sriracha. So much goodness!

I grabbed a bag and tried one. Not too bad.

I have several packs of Reece's in my junk cabinet. I keep them for emergency calories. They re my favorite, by far!
 
Food is prepped for the week. It looks like my carbs will still be a little high (around 125-175g if you minus fibrous carbs). I left to go to the post office and my wife started a pot of pinto beans.

But, my other foods will be cleaner. More chicken and broccoli and I'm adding olive oil to some of the chicken to get my fats up there. I'll know more about my meals by tomorrow.

I did some DB shoulder presses at home today. During food prep I'd take breaks and do Max reps of 50x4(sets), 45x3, then changed grip to where my knuckles face away from my ears and did 3 more sets. Got a decent pump, but not a huge lift. Something is better than nothing.

Besides, those 50's felt very heavy. I did pause at the bottom to get a good stretch in my delts.

I don't have much else to add today. No sides, no cheat meals. May do the date/dinner tomorrow.

I ate 5 more before bed last night. The peanut butter tastes a little dryer, but they're still good.

I'll PM you photos of my BM and we'll discuss the laxative factor...

Unless you avoid sugar, I don't think they're worth it. They're almost a buck more than the good ones.

Still though, folks like us that claim to be the peanut butter know-ally have to try them first!

I just bought a coffee grinder from Walmart yesterday and it grounds on three levels, course to fine. It's awesome.
 
189.8 today!

I know, I know. Doesn't mean ish.

Dinner was 2x 3oz Filet Mignon from Omaha Steaks, 1/2 cup pinto beans and 3tbsp blue cheese. I put maybe 1 tbsp of sour cream (FF) on my steak.

I didn't count cals/macros, but I was <2400 I'm sure, and probably 40/30/30-ish on the day.

May go out to dinner today, may not.

Also, I may do something at home. If nothing else I will work my forearms to get my grip better.

I saw on FB you posted Poptarts - PB flavor. How are those compared to those amazing PT - Chocolate Peanut Butter ones???
