Here's my stupid "jump 90lbs after an AMRAP set ego lift of the day" video.

I cheated and jacked the monolift up 2 notches and bent my knees too much. Don't tell anyone.

Wtf was that, a 1/2 squat morning?

:biglaugh:

Jesus. That's what my SSB squats look like with that weight. That much knee bend and that bent over.

Jesus Christ dude! Your going heavy as **** on dem GMs. Video was different if you watch it before you realize what your doing as I did lol

I remember one day after a heavy single ply squat session, I decided to do heavy goodmornings. Everything felt light, and then at 375x5, I realized going any heavier was stupid and not worth hurting my baby back bitch back. But stupid is so much fun...

Sometimes the ego needs it...we aren't bodybuilders so it's cool once in a while.

If you video a set if curls, though...

If I can power curl a 425 SSB, I'm ****ing badass

Just don't video it, kiss your "guns", wear a fanny pack, or any if that other ghey shît.

Curls are like dudes fûckin dudes; I know it happens, I'm cool with it, I just don't want to see it.

A pictorial representation of the commonly used phrase "pump your brakes". The individual depicted in the illustration is, in fact, pumping their brakes.

Oh. I don't know anything about cars. I just turn the key and go.

Would be nice to learn some stuff thou

That GM almost looks like a Kang Squat. If you've never tried them, check em out on da YouTube... They are crazy!!

its on the link YOU gave me dude!!! Powerliftingwatch.com Go to 2014 meets, look for March Maddness and April showers bring big Powers.

hahaha ya I just looked. I'm gonna ask the dude that runs my gym. I think he mentioned knowing the guy that runs EPF.

ill be TDY to Hawaii in March (rough life us USAF weenies live)....but in down to check out the meet in April

lol ****ing Hawaii. That's awesome. The only TDY I'll get is to Washington state. Lame

I'll think about the April one. If I don't, I'll go and give you a hand at least if you do it.

Check this out-I was perusing some Elliott Hulse vids this AM, and he cues to push your tongue against the roof if your mouth while (or to help) packing your neck while deadlifting.

There's some physiology involved with it, but basically it keeps you in cervical neutrality, vs cervical hyperextension or pulling your head back.

May be complete nonsense, but I found it interesting nonetheless.

Makes sense. Even just doing it while sitting here typing this, you can feel your neck tense, and the need to want to crane is stopped.

I'm sure it would **** me up though lol

Elliot Hulse has some genius stuff on his channel at times. Especially when it comes to body positioning and avoiding/correcting muscular imbalance.

Hulse is one of the internet personalities that drives me insane. I can't stand the guy and at least half of the recommendations he makes are technically incorrect.

His front squat advice couldn't be more wrong, but when it comes to conv deadlift the dude saved me with one of his vids.

He has some thing called strength camp or some nonsense. I usually watch his vids at the same time I watch the brosciencelife vids.... aka comedy time. For what little content Elliot may have in his videos, he takes 10 minutes to get around 20-30 seconds of information that's actually worth something, if that. I would rather have something to the point. I've never actually learned anything from watching his videos but do disagree with a lot of things. Some things are on point.

Never heard of him. I suposse I shall youtube

Sean, that daily bio warmup I left on this thread sometime ago is by Elliott. Like country said, he's long winded, but I really like that warmup, gets my hips ready to squat.

But now that my knee is sketchy, it's hard for me to sit in the bottom of the hole.
I can sit in the bottom of my squat just fine, but once I get to the point where I'm sitting on my calves I lose tension on my hamstrings and hips, and I feel a popping in my knee.

Anyone have any idea, Rodja?
